Making Teeth & Hair Stronger Than The Avengers | Hairburst & Mr Blanc Review

Hey,

I thought that today it would be good if I did a short post and as the end of January is literally tomorrow I thought that it would be best to talk about a couple of things that have made my January that littNle bit more inspiring.

Mr Blanc:

Mr Blanc Teeth Whitening Strips are a non peroxide whitening product proven to safely whiten teeth with enamel friendly ingredients. Mr Blanc works on and underneath the enamel. This product visibly whitens in just 14 days by removing existing nnslightly stains and preventing the generation of new stains.

On the first day of using these, I was put off them due to the texture of them being in my mouth which in my honest opinion made this product a lot worse than deepthroating for the first time ever also wasn't keen on the duration of leaving them in your mouth, 30 minutes seemed a bit too long to me. (First opinions didnt go well!)

Once I got over the first few couple of days, I actually didn't mind them. They are a bit ott price wise but at the same time they are worth it if you want a good quick way to whiten your teeth. £25 for 14 sachets at Boots or via their website which I will link here.

Hairburst:

Hairburst are a UK based, natural health supplements company, committed to delivering lasting results with affordable solutions to enhance your natural beauty. Hairburst believe healthy skin and hair starts from within. By using natural ingredients in formulas that are clinically tested and proven, we hope to assist the overall health of their customers by spreading messages and information regarding health and beauty. Hairburst products can also be added into your existing hair care regime.

Hairburst gives you everything you need to grow the healthiest longest hair possible such as growing longer and stronger hair, nourishing your hair from within and increasing hair strength.

I used this for a full month and by the end of the month my hair felt completely different., Instead of it being its dry brittle self it felt absolutely nourished and different. It felt like I had completely different hair but then a couple of weeks later I got bored with my hair and chopped it off but I absolutely loved the results of Hairburst. I didn't feel like people were judging me on my dry brittle hair.

These products aren't 100% going to work on everyone for thousands of different variables but if you try them then let me know down below.

I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post. I hope that you have had an joyful January.

Thanks for reading!

I was sent these but all the views and ramblings within this post are my own.

When Jamie's Preparing For Sex

Hey, I wrote a sex post last year (tap here if you want to read it) and it did really well with you guys so I thought that it was a good time to write another one, This one is all about me preparing for sex. It might not be that relatable but it's still going to be a rambly yet readable post so I'm sure that you will enjoy it nevertheless.
I tried to find an image via stock images but there was nothing so I had to use pinterest. Don't judge me please.
Pre-warning: This post isn't for everyone's taste and is going to mainly be based on male homosexual sex but it will also making references to heterosexual sex. I will also be referencing partners within this post. It doesn't mean someone that you're in a relationship with. It just means the other person that you're having sex with so that could be your other half or a friends with benefits etc.  Condoms:  This is the main thing that everyone should be doing when it comes to preparing for sex. Having protection is always necessary, If you have some in a makeup bag or a 'pre-sex bag' then it means that you and your partner are prepared. (I always have some in a bag just in case.) It also cuts out the 'who's getting condoms' question that we all ask our partner when it comes to sex. You may not need them when it comes to actual activity but its always good to be prepared! Trimming: Yes, I know that this one might be a bit of a debate but I honestly think that it is a necessary. If you prefer hair down there on whoever you're having fun with then thats up to you but in my opinion I don't really want to be choking on a pube whilst going down on someone. I mean getting choked is a whole other story but I really don't want to have to awkwardly stop everything to ensure that I don't have a coughing fit over a strand of hair. As I said, it's a personal preference at the end of the day.  Lactose:  Look, if you've read my blog for a while then you'll know that me and lactose don't have a great relationship and if you've somehow stumbled onto this post without reading any of my other content whatsoever then hi I'm Jamie and I'm lactose intolerant. Being lactose intolerance comes with certain consequences like stomach discomfort and as homosexual sex sometimes means anal sex this means that I have to prepare a day in advance and avoid lactose. Simply, I don't want to be halfway through doing the sex and then make it awkward by poop coming into the equation. I know that for some (apparently) it's a kink but its a no from me. Cleaning:  I prefer everything to be clean. Why shouldn't everything be clean especially if your penis is going anywhere in me. Why would I want that to be dirty when it comes to sex? I want it to be clean and ready for action simple as. Clothing:  I'm going to leave it at this for my last topic/thing to talk about. I'm going to wear what I want if we're having sex. You're going to take everything off at some point so why should I really make the effort? So I look 'sexy' for you? Fuck off! I'm not going to look less sexy if I wear something that I feel comfortable in compared to something that I look 'hot' in and if I'm going to wear something that I look bangable as fuck in then let me make it clear its for me so I can feel confident about! I also sometimes find hook ups via Grindr and honestly if its 8-9 at night I don't really want to be spending an hour finding a good outfit just to come home after to take it back off. Comment down below with anything that you do before having sex. There you go, there's some things that I take into consideration before having sex. Let me know if this post was any good because honestly I'm always a bit petrified doing sex based posts. I hope that you come back next time for another post. Thanks for reading! Jamie x

Jamie Spills The Tea | Tom Ford

Hey!

Welcome to another episode of Jamie Spilling The Tea. The weekly series where I, Jamie, 'spill the tea' about famous LGBT stars which in turns helps you learn about said star. Today's episode is all about Tom Ford.

Thomas Carlyle (Tom) Ford was born on August 27 1961. Tom is a well known American fashion designer but is also a film director, screenwriter and film producer. Tom gained fame as the creative producer of Gucci & Yves Saint Laurent (also known worldwide as YSL.) In 2006, Tom created the Tom Ford label. He also helped turn Gucci around from near bankruptcy. Tom directed A Single Man (2009) which was Oscar nominated in and Nocturnal Animls (2016.) He is married to Richard Buckley who is a journalist and former Editor In Chief at Vogue Homme International. They have a son called Alexander John (Jack) Buckley Ford.

Ford has dressed many celebrities within his time of creating and owning the Tom Ford label. He dressed Michelle Obama (who wore an ivory coloured floor length gown designed by the man himself) when she went to Buckingham Palace in 2011. He has also dressed the likes of Beyonce, Henry Cavill, Anne Hathaway, Lady Gaga obviously and many more, Ford designed Daniel Craig's suits for the last three Bond movies (Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.)

Tom has been publicised in the media in many different ways such as songs from Justin Timberlake (Suit & Tie) which then led to Ford creating over 600 pieces for the Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience World Tour, He was publicised in Jay Z's song titled after the fashion designer which in turned spiked the online search of Tom Ford which also increased the online sales of Ford's products.

Ford was in the media for 'controversial reasons' due to using naked women within a few of his campaigns as journalists said that it was 'vulgar/sexist', Ford responded by saying that he is an equal opportunities objectifier and is happy to objectify the other sex. He also commented that 'he did a male nudity ad when he worked at YSL and it got pulled.' I love the fact that he's up for breaking the general norms of what is classed as an advert and make it 'controlversial/; If we don't put controversial things into mainstream media then we will never be able make those 'controversies' known to the public which in turn may slowly become the norm.

Tom has also stated that the perfect female consumer for the brand is 'a strong intelligent woman who knows their own style.' I love this as he isn't creating the general items that are expected within the mainstream market and isn't pushing his brand anywhere and everywhere. If the consumer knows their style and if it fits with Tom's line of products then he's happy to sell them to them. I also love that he is an equal opportunities advocate as we need more of them in the world. The fact that the chairwoman of his brand is a woman makes it better. I know that in this case a woman isn't at the complete top of the company but they're still right at the top!

I know that I've barely made a coherent post but screw it I'm tired. Basically, here's a post about Tom Ford and I like Tom Ford. I obviously don't know him as a person but I love the products that he brings out and the way he portrays himself within the media.

Let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments section below.

I hope that you've enjoyed this post and I hope that you've learnt some stuff about Tom Ford. I'm going to embed his YouTube video starring Lady Gaga down below just in case you want to watch it. I hope that you come back next Wednesday for a more coherent and less rambly Jamie Spills The Tea.

Click here to go to Tom's website. It is US based but I thought that it would be best to just put his site here in case you want to look at things and then google or purchase them and pay for the shipping.

Casting A Spell On You | Lush Valentines Day Range 2017

Hey!

What's the main item that you think of when someone says Valentines Day? Is it chocolate? Is it flowers? Well for me, it's Lush. Lush always release a Valentines Day collection and thats what I love the most when it comes to Valentines Day. I may be forever alone until I decide on where the crazy cat man phase is going to start but it means that I'll always be happy on VD thanks to Lush.

Kiss Me Quick Business Wash Card:

KMQ is a brand new product for Lush's VD range. This product is a business wash card which just means a smaller wash sheet/ They are basically big sheets that you can tear up and use as soap in the shower or bath when water is added to them and as this one is smaller it means that it can be shoved into your bag, pocket or even wallet for when you're staying somewhere which isn't your house (eg a festival or holiday.)

The product contains Fresh Apple Pulp which makes the actual card, Lemon, Lime, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood Oils, Tonka Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Geranium Extract and Yellow Lustre. If you're a fellow lushie then you will know that these ingredients make up 29 High Street which is meant to replicate the smell of a Lush shop. I love this product and think it's a brilliant concept and I love the scent. It's not as full on as walking past a Lush shop but it's nice. (£2)

Love Spell Massage Bar:

Love Spell was an OSE last year along with Roller bath bomb. This massage bar is made up of lovely butters and oils such as Cocoa Butter and Jojoba Oil and the scent is made up of Carnation Absolute, Organic Aloe Vera gel and Rose Hip Syrup & Neroli Oil therefore this bar has a deep floral scent to it. The rose hip syrup gives a hint of rose to the product but also helps the bar to glide across the skin easily. Great for a pamper night or to use with a partner. (£5.95)

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar

I'm going to make myself cringe and link back to an old Lush post where I talk about Unicorn Horn. The product has a little revamp every year but still has the same gorgeous scent. If you love unicorns or Lavender then this is an amazing product for you!

Over And Over Bath Bomb

Over and Over is a brand new product for 2017. It looks like the cousin of the Xmas exclusive Never Mind The Ballistics and was showcased at the Creative Showcase in Dec 2016. The bottom is all bath bomb then the top is a Cocoa Butter based dream (Bath Oil) so you get the best of both worlds. This ballistic contains Lime, Fennel, Cypress and Orris Oils which give the product a deep citrus yet spicy scent which I absolutely adore! I think this bomb will give such a lovely colour to the bath!

Lover Lamp Bath Bomb

I think that this one is a mixture of Butterball and Lava Lamp. Lover Lamp switches itself back on for 2017! This one contains Vanilla Absolute and Brazilian Orange Oil which gives this ball of beautiful-ness a sweet citrus scent. The hearts are made of Castor Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil which melt into your bath to give your skin a moisturising boost! (£4.25)

Ladybird Bubble Bar

Scuttling across your bath! Ladybird is a cute bubble bar that consists of Geranium Oil and Peppermint which gives off a sweet yet refreshing scent. The best way to sum this one up is Christingle/Intergalactic had a baby with Snow Fairy. It's different and I'm not the biggest fan of SF but I quite like this little ladybird.

Rose Bombshell

This beautiful bombshell has burst back into the scenes for 2017. RB has the same scent as Rose Jam so if you're missing Rose Jam already then you can get it in bath bomb form during the VD period. There's also Fine Sea Salt which exfoliates your skin and Yellow Rose Petals which give your bath that lovely romantic feel. (£4.25, sold out on the website but just hang around for the next batch!)

Cupid:

This guy is going to pull on your heart strings! This bath bomb contains Persian Lime and Bergamot Oils, Violet Leaf Absolute and Fresh Raspberry Juice which means that Cupid is zesty but sweet! I love the Raspberry Juice and Violet Leaf Absolute in this as it gives Cupid a deep fruity backbone! (£2,95.)

Lovestruck Bubble Bar

Do you use the heart eyes emoju a lot? If so then this bubble bar is for you. I honestly think that this is such a cute product for those that love their emojis but is more appealing for teenagers compared to older people. This bubble bar contains Sicilian Lemon, Pettigrain and Geranium Oils. I haven't used this but I have sniffed it and I honestly think it smells like a mixture of Lemon and Paint or Permanent Markers. (£4.25.)

Two Hearts Beating As One

When 2 becomes one! As you can tell from the name of this product as this melt is two melts that join up to create one big melt. This means that you can split it into two in case you want to give one of them to the other half. This one contains Rose Absolute, Geranium Oil and a load more oils which condition the skin for those cold February days. (£3.95

Prince Charming Shower Cream

The Prince is back! This year he is sporting a coat of Self Preserving goodness. This one contains Marshmallow Root, Grapefruit Oil and Fresh Pomegranate Juice which gives this Prince a lovely sweet fruity scent which reminds me of Jaffa Cakes. This is a cream so its that little bit thicker and is more moisturising compared to a gel. (Prices start from £5.50.)

Love You, Love You Lots Soap

Does he love you? Does he love you lots? This years Valentines Day is based around picking flower petals and saying those infamous sentences until the flower has no petals left but as Lush love to be friendly to everyone, they've kept your feelings intact and put the whole flower in the soap instead of leaving behind the rest after the petals are picked off. This sumptous soap contains Rose Petal Infusion, Rose Oil and Rose Syrup so you definitely get the whole Rose and as it has an Coconut and Rapeseed Oil base it means that it is super nourisbing! (£4.25 p/100g.)

The Kiss Lip Scrub

It's nearly 2am and I'm still sorting this post out so sadly the rest are going to be to the point. The whole concept of Lush's lip scrubs are that you can scrub your lips to remiove dead skin then lick the rest off therefore all lip scrubs have a base of salt/sugar. This one has salt and sugar in so you get a double dose of scrubbing! This has red edible hearts in which I think is a nice Valentines Day touch to it. (£5.75.)

The Kiss Lip Gloss

This lip gloss shares the same scent as above which is mainly Sicillian Mandarin Oil. This gloss doesn't have too much of a colour but is mainly a nude shade either way. I think it would look great with maybe a bright coloured eye. It contains Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter to make sure the lips are super nourished and Guarana Seed Powder gives the essence of a Lip Plumper. (

Have you tried any of the above products? Let me know down below! #

All of the products can be purchased via the Lush website.

That's the Lush Valentines Day Range 2017 done. I can't wait to see what happens after the VD range has been and gone. I love VD due to Lush as it shows that you can be happy and single whilst self caring for yourself on Valentines Day. I hope that you've enjoyed this post and I hope to see you back next time for another post.

My Lush Goals 2017

Hey!

I thought that today I would talk to you guys all about my Lush goals that I would love to achieve in 2017. I doubt I will achieve any but its always good to tell others then they're not completely wasted within the abyss of my mind.

I've been busy with uni interviews and personal things so I'll change this to ensure its the picture that Lush PR kindly send me.

 Meet/Collab With All Things Lush:

I have been a massive fan of Jen who runs All Things Lush UK for a good couple of years now and I think that she is an amazing and confident person so I would love to just meet her and talk all things Lush based. I admire her in so many ways and I can't thank her enough for her posts as they have saved me when I've needed a ingredient list of a product tha isn't on the Lush website anymore. I also am quite jealous of her Lush collection but at the same time I'm glad that I don't have the same amount of products as her as I think I'd have to convert a room into a Lush storage unit!

Visit The Lush Factory:

Yes, this can be possible but it's normally for bloggers and YouTubers with a big following and sadly I don't think that I will ever have a big enough following to be invited to visit the factories so I think that this one of the goals that I will just have to dream about. I would love to spend the day learning about the process of producing mass amounts of products and being in the motherhood of Lush, One day maybe...

Purchase More From The Kitchen:

Hi, my name is Jamie and I've only bought something from Lush Kitchen once. I am a Lushie and I know that I should be all about Lush Kitchen and I am but as a student I just don't have the funds to be purchasing stuff on a weekly basis or whenever unless I already know that I like the products on the menu as I'm a bit anxious of paying for something that I might like or might not like but I think this might have to change as I have being loving everything on the kitchen within the last year. (The produict that I did buy was the Celebrate Solid Perfume.)

Attend The Lush Creative Showcase:

The wonderful guys at Lush Kitchen invited me to come down to the Creative Showcase but sadly I couldn't due to trains costing just over £60 and having the last megabus breaking down on me has put me off them for a good while unless very necessary but I definitely want to go as I saw what this years CS was like and I was sad that I missed out on it all. As it is based in London, it means if I can go to the showcase, I can bulk up on some exclusives from Oxford Street.

Create More Lush Posts:

This is one I can try and stick to but I'm not fully sure. I love writing and creating Lush posts but as my blog is just Lush based it means that I don't really talk about Lush on a consistent basis but I think that I want to try and achieve that a bit more even if its only doing that once or twice a month. I'm sure I can try and stick to that.

Do you have any Lush based goals that you'd like me to try and achieve? Let me know down below!

I hope that you come back for another post. Whilst you're waiting, there is loads of Lush posts scattered all over my blog so try and find them and read them?

Jamie Spills The Tea | Causing A Hurricane | Bianca Del Rio

Hey!

Welcome to another Jamie Spills The Tea post! Today, I will be spilling the tea on Bianca Del Rio.

I couldn't find a stock image of Bianca and I thought that a stock image of a clown might scare you so have this one again.

Bianca Del Rio (also known as Roy Haydock) is a seasoned comic, winner of Season 6 of RuPaul''s Drag Race, a self proclaimed 'clown in a gown' and much more! The hateful comic is known for her no holds barred foul mouth and unapologetic humour which I personally love! Although Bianca does all of the above, she does state that she is the biggest joke of all!

As stated above, Bianca won the crown of RuPaul's Drag Race S6. Although she started out as an ultimate bitter bitch, the world got to see that her heart wasn't as frozen as some would seem via helping out contestants like Adore Delano with sewing competitions and just emulating a slightly more positive atmosphere to the workroom towards the end of the season. Was that because Bianca knew that it was coming to an end and she would be able to go back to reality? Who knows but she killed it throughout the season!

I think that Bianca's style of comedy has to be taken with a pinch of salt. There's no need to be offended or annoyed by any of the jokes that she tells or by the comments if she finds you out of the crowd and dishes the dirt on you. At the end of the day, comedy is comedy and it is nothing serious. Honestly, if she sassed the fuck out of me I would probably love it!

Bianca then went on to perform her own comical works on a sold out world tour called 'Rolodex Of Hate'. After that, Hurricane Bianca came out. (Pun is not intended!)

Hurricane Bianca is an American independent film which is written and directed by Matt Kugelman. The film is based as a comedy but definitely touches on massive topics via the plot of the film. The plot is that a teacher (Richard) moves from New York to a small town in Texas as he has been given a new job there. He gets outed by the community that surrounds him and is fired from his job. Richard comes back to the school as Bianca Del Rio (his drag persona) to wreak revenge on the school.

RuPaul and a few members of the Drag Race family (Shangela, Willam, Alyssa Edwards & Joslyn Fox) also appear within the movie. I think that the movie is amazing. It has a good few comical moments but I mainly love the portrayal of someone being fired from their job for being gay and I think that this definitely needs to be talked about more within the media, I wasn't fully sure on the editing when I was watching but as a whole I loved it and I will be watching it again when I can.

Hurricane Bianca can be viewed via Netflix. I am promoting it out of the goodness of my heart because I think everyone should watch it! If you live in the UK then go to see Bianca in her new tour Not Today Satan. You can do this by buy tickets to see her on tour here.

There you go, the tea on Bianca Del Rio has now been spilled. If Bianca is reading this then I hope that I didn't do too bad of a post and keep being a the biggest fucking clown of the century! (I doubt she will but I can dream...)

I hope that you have enjoyed this post and I hope that you come back next week for more tea spilling!

Pumped Up Powers & Heeled Heroines | Superheroes & Shoes With Brantano

Hey!

Welcome to another post. I thought today I would talk to you about the relation of shoes and superheroes as they are two of the most trending things in the world within the last year. The post is going to be a bit of a lengthy one so I'd grab a drink before reading!

With all those flashy powers, glitzy lifestyles and heroic antics, the humble aspects of a hero’s life are sometimes overlooked.  For example, consider the demands of a superhero’s routine such as dashing to and from crime scenes and kickboxing with villains, I wonder what kind of shoes should they wear?

Think of The Flash and then imagine him wearing a pair of sandals. Super speed and flip flops wouldn’t work with the rest of his outift or end well when it came to running, would it? No! Superheroes wear footwear that aids their abilities but has also become iconic in its own right.

Footwear retailer Brantano has gathered some of their favourite shoes that certain superheroes wear.

Wonder Woman’s Battle Boots

The heroine everyone recognises, Diana Prince (a.k.a Wonder Woman) is one of the longest-serving female superheroes. She made her debut in 1941 and is back in the public eye thanks to a brand new look for her role in the DC cinematic universe which is also known as DCU.

Her classic look is one of confidence and vivid colour. Alongside her iconic bracelets and tiara, WW wears red knee high boots with a signature white stripe.  In a practical move, many of her comic boot appearances have avoided high heels in favour of flat boots. In her latest appearance, Gal Gadot’s heroine is clad in armoured knee-highs that have sandal-style straps and a wedge heel. Impractical? Maybe. Stylish? Hell yes!

Star Lord’s Rocket Boots (Guardians of the Galaxy)

Peter Quill/Star Lord was portrayed by Chris Pratt in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. His charisma helped lead a team of misfits against supervillain Ronan whose forces were threatening the galaxy. While doing this, he stays on trend thanks to a space cowboy inspired look which includes a pair of reddish-brown walking shoes that are topped with knee-high greaves. The kicker? These boots have rocket boosters in them enabling Star Lord to cross large crevasses and thrust his way through the non-gravity of empty space.

Superman’s Iconic Red Boots

Think of Superman and you immediately think of blue and red, a pair of red spandex and cape over the famous blue costume. However, the look wouldn’t be complete without the boots to match. Superman, when not hiding behind the Clark Kent alias, wears his just below the knee greaves with oodles of style. Even in his latest, more realistic portrayal by Henry Cavill which has removed the comic book briefs, Superman still wears his bright red boots. Proof you need to stick with your signature style!

The Power Rangers

The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers were a TV phenomenon in the 90s (their reruns made up a good majority of my childhood) but are set to launch themselves back into the public eye when their new action film is released this year. Combating Lord Zed, the team of heroes take their instruction from Zordon but seem to take fashion tips from more famous superheroes, as they also wore colourful knee-high boots!

Captain America’s Combat Boots

The latest version of Captain America (played by Chris Evans) is a no frills superhero that mixes patriotism with strength. Styled to portray a man who withstands no nonsense, the Captains costume is a jumpsuit style military get up that doesn’t mess around at all. Like his outfit, his boots are all about utility. Combat boots with a thick sole. They’re perfect whether he’s pursuing crime on foot or on his motorcycle.

The Joker’s Knife Boot (The Dark Knight)

The clown prince of crime isn’t just the arch-nemesis of Batman, he’s also a challenging role for any actor to take on! In what is arguably his most famous on-screen appearance, the Joker was immortalised by the late Heath Ledger as a dark, psychopathic villain. Interestingly, in this entire list, he’s the only character to not wear knee high boots which is slightly odd I suppose! His iconic purple suit caught the eye but it was a hidden knife in his brogues that surprised Batman plus they looked great with brightly-checked socks!

Ultimately, there’s a lot to be learned from superhero fashion. A longer length pair like knee highboots must grant some sort of secret super power considering almost every superhero is confidently sporting them. Maybe the real secret to heroism and fame is a good pair of knee highs? Who knows?

Is your wardrobe inspired by any of the above mentioned superheroes? Do you have strong opinions on knee high boots giving people secret super powers? Let me know down below!

I hope that you have enjoyed this heroic post and I hope that you fly over for another blog post on Wednesday.

Thanks for reading!

Jamie Spills The Tea | Michelle Visage

Hey!

Welcome to the second post in the Jamie Spills The Tea series where I discuss and educate you on some of the best members of the LGBT+ community. Today's post is all about the Queen that is Michelle Visage!

Michelle Visage is an American singer, TV host, radio DJ, author and TV personality. Michelle started her career off by being in a band called Seduction who are most known for their single 'Two To Make It Right.' Once 'Seduction' had separated, Michelle became the lead single of The Soul System. Visage then later became the cohost of The RuPaul Show. She has also been a judge on Rupaul's Drag Race & its spinoff 'All Stars' since January 2011. Michelle also went into the UK Celebrity Big Brother house on January 7th 2015 and came out in fifth place.

Michelle might be a straight woman but she is definitely an ally and the whole LGBT+ community needs more allies within the world especially in todays day and age. Michelle is all about bringing love and honesty to the world and I think that it is the best thing in the world!

Although this goddess is all about love and positivity, she will definitely ensure you that she is doing her job correctly when it comes to judging on the show 'RuPaul's Drag Race'. Michelle will critique the contestants on what they need to do in order to better themselves and I think that it is the best thing to do as I think that the entertainment business is a tough one to go into and you need someone that will tell you exactly how to further yourself, You probably already have someone like that in your life and although you probably think that they are a bitch sometimes they are only doing it because they want you to be amazing. Michelle has been known to get insults and death threats via social media from doing it and I think that it is an awful thing to do. You might not like how a show goes but the show only goes on for so long and then once its ended everyone on it goes back to working hard in the real world. (This has happened several times so I am not referencing or shading a particular queen!)

Michelle won the hearts of the UK when entering the CBB house ensuring that she would stand up for everything that she believed in and she did (especially against animal looking Perez Hilton) .and I honestly think that we need more to be doing that sort of thing! She has helped so many drag queens and fans of Drag Race via her social media (like the teenage boy who was kicked out of his home whos tweet Michelle retweeted and checked up on after).

In the words of RuPaul and Michelle Visage, the best way to sum Michelle up is that you're born naked and everything else is drag.

This isn't sponsored but if you want to buy Michelle's book then click here. It's a great book and I urge to either find it in book stores to have a little look or to buy it and read it when you can!

Do you also love Michelle Visage? Let me know down below!

Thanks for reading the second rambling blog post in the Jamie Spills The Tea series. I hope that you have enjoyed it and I hope that you come back next week to spill some more tea with me!

Festive Lush Haul

Hey!

As it is now 2017, I thought that I would tell you guys what I've been buying from Lush recently, There is a fair amount of products so it might be best to grab a drink of your choice before reading this post.

Luxury Lush Pud

Christmas isn't Christmas without a Christmas Pudding! Now, I hate Christmas Pudding but I do love to enjoy its bath counterpart which is the Luxury Lush Pud. I love the fact that this bath bomb resembles a quirky sort of Christmas Pudding. I love the spots of colour that mix with the dark purple in the bath! This bomb consists of Mandarin and Bergamot Oils and Orange Flower Absolute.

Golden Wonder

I had such a bad addiction to GW's last year so I obviously had to pick a few up! I love this bath bomb for many reasons. I love the fact that this is a present in a present which is shown via the bath bomb having the stars in the middle of the bomb. I also love how the lustre in this bomb isn't smothered on the outside which I love sometimes but I also love the surprise of the lustre more. I also love the scent which consists of Sweet Orange Oil, Cognac Oil and Lime Oil. I love that slightly boozy citrus smell.

Bubbly Shower Gel

MY BUBBLES! Bubbly is basically the shower gel version of Golden Wonder but I love it as it doesn't have glitter but instead has a stronger scent compared to Golden Wonder so its one of those gels to use first thing in the morning. It would be great to pair it up with a Golden Wonder in the bath!

Lord Of Misrule Shower Cream

This is a shower cream not a shower gel. The difference is normally that the creams are well creamy and thicker in consistency compared to a gel and normally has moisturising ingredients within such as Cocoa Butter. This cream contains a Patchouli & Peppercorn infusion, Patchouli Oil, Black Pepper Oil and Vanilla Absolute. This creates an amazing spicy yet slightly sweet scent and tints the skin green for a brief moment which I love.

The Experimenter

This ballistic contains a plethora of ingredients such as popping candy and much more, The scent of this product mainly consists of Vetivert Oil, Tonka Absolute and Vanilla Absolute which create a smoky deep scent with a subtle hint of sweet. It's lovely in the bath and is great to use on those cold nights!

Monsters Ball Ballistic

Monsters Ball was a Halloween exclusive but has been out on the kitchen and I think in stores before via The Enchanter. This product consists of Lime and Neroli which is the core of the beloved Calacas range which most Lushies adore. I haven't tried yet but I love Lime and Neroli together! I also love how this bomb reminded me of Mike from Monsters Inc.

So White

Mirror, mirror, on the wall/ Who is the fairest of them all? So White bath ballistic plays homage to Snow White and is normally a staple in the Lush Christmas range. This bath bomb contains Brazilian Orange, Bergamot, and Neroli Oils and Rose & Orange Flower Absolute to somehow create a fresh Granny Smith Apple like scent.

Mask Of Magnaminty

This multipurpose mask contains Kaolin, Honey, Peppermint Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Ground Aduki Beans and more. The peppermint oil gives this mask its name and scent which is a fresh sweet mint due to the Vanilla and Peppermint. The Ground Aduki Beans make it into a scrub. I love it as both and its a great product for anyone who gets spots every now and again

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner*

Everyone loves a cult classic! Would it really be a Lush Christmas range without some form of Snow Fairy? This perfectly pink product has been released in a few different formats this year which include a Conditioner that you wash off in the shower/bath and a multipurpose FUN which can be used as shampoo and much more. I'm not the biggest fan of SF but I loved the conditioner due to it being not as strong as the shower gel.

Have you enjoyed my little Lush Haul? Have you used any of the products? Did you buy any of the above over the festive period? Let me know down below!

I hope that you come back next time for another post whether that be about Lush or anything else!

Thanks for reading!

Jamie Spills The Tea | Jeffree Star

Hey!

I have decided to do a new series called Jamie Spills The Tea where I talk about anything and everything to do with the LGBT+ community and to start off the series I am talking about the infamous Jeffree Star.

https://static.pexels.com/photos/156918/pexels-photo-156918.jpeg

Jeffree Star (full name Jeffrey Lynn Steininger) is an American singer-songwriter, make up artist and much much more,.He started his music career via MySpace like such stars as Lily Allen. They then later released their debut album 'Beauty Killer' in 2009. Jeffree is also known for their fashion line 'Beauty Forever', his persona and YouTube channel.

The whole point of this series is to give my opinions of the people that are within these posts but tio also educate you all slightly with people. I thought that I would start off with Jeffree because everyone knows them. I am probably going to be sticking to their/they pronouns throughout most of this series

I think that Jeffree has had their moments of bad press such as the whole Kat Von D feud but I do think that we all have our flaws and sometimes they are documented and showcased to the press quite vividly but all in all I personally think that Jeffree is a good person.

Jeffree has made a name for themselves via their makeup line which has been ripped off the shelves of Sephora stores and has been shoved into everyone's handbags/smeared on a lot of people worldwide. Going from a little flat to a villa within such a short amount of time screams a good business and it shows via the amount of passion that they put into their products.

I also think that they will still be growing more and more within five years from their booming makeup brand but also via their YouTube especially when you look at the stats of their videos. The fact that everyone is obsessed on trying to get the latest makeup trend helps what I said as Jeffree always kills it on the trends side of things. The collaborations that they keep publishing with Drag Race stars also supports my statement.

What's your opinion of Jeffree Star? Do you like a particular makeup product of theirs that you adore? Let me know down below!

This has been my first Jamie Spills The Tea post. I hope that you have enjoyed this post and I hope that you come back for more in this season. If you want to see a particular person who is a part of the LGBT+ community within this series then let me know down below.

2017's Blogging Goals

Hey!

Let me start off with saying Happy 2017! I hope that you have recovered from the adventures of New Years celebrations. Today I'm getting into the groove of 2017 by talking about the things that I want to achieve in 2017 on Jamie Sowden.

https://static.pexels.com/photos/8883/pexels-photo.jpeg

Following:

Let's get the pretentious out of the way. Of course I would love to say that my goal is to get an amazing following overnight and to be 'blogger famous' but that's not how it happens. It definitely doesn't happen within the space of a night so instead I would like to grow my following just a tiny bit (maybe by 500 on Twitter and Instagram or something a bit more realistic. Who knows?)

Rambling About Honest Things:

Weirdly the last time I wrote about sex, it did really well so I think that a good goal for 2017 is to write more content that is honest. I like writing about slightly taboo topics that need the stigma removing from them so I think 2017 is going to be more about mental health, sex, being gay and things like that. I know that being gay isn't a taboo thing but I think that it could do with a bit more coverage to do with it here on Jamie Sowden.

Try To Not Give A Fuck:

I know that this sounds a little bit like the last goal but it isn't. I can write about sex but it takes not giving a fuck to actually publish it. I have deleted so many posts because I have overthought them too much so I think that 2017 is going to be more about posting what I want when I want and not feeling like I have to explain why. I feel like I did way too much explaining why in 2016.

Scheduling:

I need to start scheduling more just so that I know that the post is getting out to everyone. I hate scheduling sometimes but most blogs schedule so I think I'll schedule for one day then take one day off when it comes to Social Media so I know that I have shared it whilst having a day to relax and to not be obsessed about it all.

Collaborating:

This last goal is something that I have been wanting to slowly do more of since I wrote for Leeds Student Magazine for a while and collaborating with Michelle for the last year or so, I have absolutely loved working with others, Although I normally work with brands, I think that I would love to work with bloggers that I love and look up to such as Lucy, Kellie, Olivia, Katie and many others.

Do you have any goals or resolutions for 2017? If you do then I would love to know what they are which you can do by writing them down below!

I hope that you have enjoyed reading this little introductory post to 2017 and I hope that you come back next time for another blog post!
