Hey!
Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was invited to a wonderful event that was held to showcase the new grooming range from the amazing Admiral Grooming and I thought that today I would talk to you guys about it.
Admiral is the original British sports brand with over 100 years of sporting heritage which can still be seen today. The first Admiral Grooming products range takes it’s inspiration from the Admiral Gold Menswear collection. Admiral Gold gets it’s influence from the brand’s origins and it’s British heritage, combining classic styling with modern elements! This high-end grooming range is influenced from Admirals rich history and a love for the highest quality British-grown ingredients.
We arrived at the wonderful Aspire, which is situated in the heart of Leeds City Centre and is literally on a stone's throw away from Leeds Railway Station, figured out where we were meant to be going and made our way to the heart of the event which was within the bar/lounge area of the building. We ordered two Orange Juices as we all know I have a weird situation with Prosecco so I thought it would be best to stick to Orange Juice and so did Luke. We then sat down on a plush Leather Sofa and chatted for a while.
After chatting for a while, the founder of Admiral Grooming came up to us and had a discussion about the wonderful brand and it's heritage as Admiral Grooming is based within the heart of Bradford which was great to hear due to being from Bradford. They also talked to us about what would be going on throughout the rest of the night.
Myself and Luke then decided to play with the perfect products that were in front of us, The first product that we had a good mess about with was a superb shave cream The full name of this product is Hydrate & Repair Shave Cream with Kale Extract. The Hydrate & Repair Shave Cream repairs and hydrates skin after any damage that may have occurred during the shaving process which has happened to myself and probably many of the people reading this post. The cream soothes and heals the skin for a more comfortable shaving experience. This cream contains Kale Extract (which is within the name of the product) which is a rich source of Vitamins including Vitamin C and Calcium which help to repair the skin. When I applied it at the event it was smooth on the skin but slightly becomes matte after a while which I like because then I can stick a Moisturiser on top if needs be but also at the same time means that I won't be going around all day wondering if I still have the product on my skin which sometimes happens with some creams. £8.99.
The other product that we played with was the Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke Extract. This product hydrates and strengthens the skin. Skin can become damaged from shaving or other things such as the weather and this moisturer helps to protect sensitive, irritated skin, and locks in the skins moisture which is great as it means that the irritation will slowly stop and you'll be back on track to having amazing skin! The Artichoke extract included in this product which again is included in the title is used as it helps to regenerate skin cells and calms down irritated skin. £9.99.
We then were treated to a talk about the wonderful Jamie Peacock MBE who has played for various rugby teams who talked about such things as his career, his love for rugby, his love for Yorkshire and much more.
We then were treated to some amazing food including some wonderfully spiced Piri Piri Chicken, beautiful Sausage and Onion Rolls and crispy Onion Bhajis which represented the hometown of Admiral Grooming quite well.
We said our goodbyes and was handed a wonderful goodie bag which included a Moisturising Balm and a wonderful Anti-Ageing Eye Serum and much more.
What's your favourite grooming product? Let me know down below!
Thank you to wonderful Sarah that invited us to the event and hosted the wonderful event. Thank you to the staff at Admiral for putting on an amazing event and for creating wonderful products.

Creating A New Beauty Ritual | The Body Shop Briggate Bloggers Event
Hey!
Welcome to another blog post! The wonderful guys over at The Body Shop invited me to their Leeds Briggate flagship store for a bloggers event and I thought that today I would tell you guys what happened at the event.
*Sadly I didn't get all the photos that I wanted of the new products which is my own fault more than anything but I'm sure you can find pictures of the products on Instagram/online.*
We started off by walking along towards The Body Shop and for once we arrived a few minutes late as I normally end up there a good five to ten minutes early. Myself and Luke greeted the staff member that was at the door to tick us off the guest list. We then walked into the grand store and I decided to grab my DSLR out of the bag to take a few photos whilst other bloggers were still arriving.
We perused some of the sale stock whilst we made our way around the store, Myself and Luke then went over to the Whittards stand. Whittards were giving out refreshments of their amazing Tea at this event. The two Teas that they were giving out were Cucumber & Mint and Grapefruit Yerba Mate. I loved the Cucumber and Mint Tea as it reminded me of a Summery Gin Cocktail but sadly I wasn't completely sold on the Grapefruit Yerba Mate but that's probably because I'm not the biggest fan of Grapefruit but I think this Tea would be grat for those who like something that has a deep Citrusy flavour. There were also gorgeous goodies at the Whittards stand including fresh juicy Apples and ripe Raspberries.
After this, Kimberley (one of the staff members at The Body Shop Briggate) introduced us to the other members of The Body Shop Briggate. Once this had happened, Kimberley started to talk about the new products that are arriving at all stores.
The first product that we were shown was the Amazonian Saviour Multi-Purpose Balm. This product helps to revitalise the appearance of tattoos, nourishes extremely dry skin and helps the appearance of skin marks. The product contains only 9 ingredients and is 100% Vegetarian. I love the fact that it sorts out extremely dry skin but sadly I wasn't that keen on the scent as it smelt of a very deep resinous scent.
Next on the list was the Ethiopian Green Coffee Cream which helps skin feel firmer and smoother. This product is a new addition to the Spa Of The World range. You know that it's going to be great as Ethiopia is known for it's Coffee and due to the Coffee, this cream has stimulating properties. (I'm keeping this one short as I shall be talking about this product later on in a bit more depth.)
Moving along on the spiritual conquest, we then got to have a play with the Spa Of The World French Grape Seed Body Scrub. This product contains Organic Sugar from Paraguay. The scrub as a whole helps to invigorate, exfoliate and radiate skin which means that once you've used the scrub then your skin will be feeling absolutely beautiful and brand new. I wasn't honestly sure on what I thought of a Grape Seed infused product scent wise but I do love a good scrub!
The last two Spa Of The World products include the Indian Turtle Massager which is wooden and has 4 balls to really get into the nooks and crannies of the body when massaging. This can be used on anyone including yourself or your partner. There was also the Thai Makrut Lime Toning Oil. This Oil is one that firms the body but at the same time it's absorbed by the body quickly which helps to nourish the body. Lime is an astringent which helps to cleanse and tone the skin.
Everyone in the room also got told about the new Green Tea Hair Mask and Shampoo and Conditioner which are coming to The Body Shop. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to properly sniff them but I think that they will be an amazing addition to the hair care range at TBS. It's for Dry Hair and the mask helps with hair conditions such as Psoriasis and the Shampoo/Conditioner is suitable for people with coloured hair.
We then wandered around and got to sniff and test out some great products such as the Pink Grapefruit range. and grabbed some more food from the Whittards range.
Myself and Luke then got hand and arm massages of the new products at the Spa Bar. If you want to find out what product Luke was pampered with then read his post when it goes up but I loved the Ethiopian Green Coffee Cream so the staff member massaged my arm with it. We talked about the product and realised that this product texture wise is inbetween a sorbet and body butter which means that you get the quick time absorbing qualities of a sorbet and the nourishing properties of a body butter. I also think that this has a scent of a green shake which sounds weird but I think its great as Spa products normally have a fresh clean cotton scent whereas this didn't.
We also got the chance to see the Beauty Lounge which is only available via the Leeds Briggate flagship store where you can get a one to one consultation, a lovely drink and much more. You can even have parties within the room. The way that you pay for the lounge is that you pay upfront but you can redeem the costs via products at The Body Shop.
It was time to say goodbye so we we finished our chat with the wonderful staff who gave me a couple of samples for my face as my face decided to act differently every week. The lovely staff assistant told us about a few secret products that are coming within August so go to your local TBS to check them out then, We then got given a wonderful goodie bag with some samples from The Body Shop including their wonderful Drops Of Youth: Youth Liquid Peel which I can't wait to try.
Whats your favourite The Body Shop product? Let me know down below!
Thanks to the wonderful staff at The Body Shop Briggate for inviting myself to the bloggers event and thanks to them all and the Whittards staff that attended the event for putting on an amazing night!

Beating The Close Shave | Cornerstone
Hey!
Welcome to another blog post! The wonderful guys over at Cornerstone HQ sent me a wonderful box of goodies to try out so I thought that today I would tell you my opinions of them.
Cornerstone is a company that is based around a male grooming subscription box that is all about the face. Cornerstone specify in shaving and other products such as face scrubs. You can select a combination of products such as the face scrub and shaving gel and a delivery schedule to match your personal shaving routine as Cornerstone recognise that everyone's personal routine is different. .Cornerstone ensure that your plan has free delivery attached to it so you don't have to pay extra to ensure that its there for your personal routine and if you want to pause or stop the delivery routine then thats easy to do as well as Cornerstone and myself know that sometimes taking a break from anything can be messy.
Cornerstone kindly sent me a box filled with goodies and I thought that it would be best to talk to you about the components of the box individually.
Face Scrub
This scrub is blended with Cedarwood to give a very deep yet slightly sweet scent. The face scrub also contains Volcanic Sand Exfoliating Grains which exfoliate the skin which helps lift dead skin cells, unblock pores and reduce shaving spots. I love this scrub as it gets into every nook and cranny and its a great mild scent to use when it comes morning and evening shaves as it's not too potent that it invigorates you or tries to knock you out when using it.
Shaving Gel
Shaving gels can just be well shaving gels but this one is specially created to ensure that sensitive skin doesn't get harmed from razor burn. It also contains Eucalyptus and Ginger extracts but honestly I think that this product smells of Tea weirdly but I love it.
Post Shave Balm
This balm helps to soothe, refresh and moisturise the skin after shaving. It also helps to reduce irritation as sometimes your skin can feel irritated once shaving has finished. This has Mint and Honey within it so it helps to soothe via the Mint and helps to nourish the skin via Honey. I love this post shave balm but the Mint does make the skin tingle so I'd be a bit careful when first using this product but otherwise I think that it is a great product.
Razor
When you order a razor via Cornerstone, you can get your initials engraved inro it so for me I got JS engraved. I think that its an amazing idea. I also love the metal of the razor as it just feels and looks like a professional grooming tool.
Razor Blades
Cornerstone has brought out a new razor which has five sharp but fine blades, which reduces clogging. They've also brought out a new precision trimmer blade for those hard to reach areas which honestly anyone who shaves needs. Each blade is made from Japanese chromium steel to reduce micro-corrosion of its cutting edge and is coated in a layer of Titanium and Diamond grade Carbon to ensure the cutting edge stays sharper for longer.
If you want to find out more about Cornerstone or purchase anything from them then click here.
What's your favourite grooming product? Let me know down below!
I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post and I hope that you come back next time for another entertaining post. I hope that you've had fun reading this!
Thank you to the guys at Cornerstone for sending me these amazing products. They have helped change my shaving game completely and I don't think that I'll be going back to the disposable razors that break on you within the second use.

Prepping Foe Spring | My Beauty Tips For Spring
Hey!
Welcome to another blog post! Spring is coming into bloom via the clocks changing, flowers come into their season and many other things so I thought that today I would talk to you guys about some beauty tips for the spring as you never know what the weather will be like in Spring which can affect your skin in many ways!
Cleansers
This amazing beauty product can do so many great things for our skin but I think that we definitely all need to be using one when it comes to Spring because it can go from boiling to freezing within the space of 24 hours and your skin won't know what's going on. Cleansers will get rid of all the impurities that will happen from weather, change of diet and many other things. Garnier do some wonderful cleansers but I am mainly loving 2 cleansers at the moment. Herbalism from Lush which contains Nettles, Rosemary and Rice Bran which sounds weird I know but they get at the skin to get rid of all the dirt and bad things that are in your skin. Herbalism has such a fresh scent which is great for Spring as scents such as fresh cut grass and herbs come into their trend. The second cleanser that I absolutely love is Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser from Bee Good. I love this cleanser from the smell alone. It's sweet but slightly fresh. I also love it due to the thick texture as it is a cream cleanser. This one gets rid of dirt and impurities like most cleansers do but it also exfoliates your skin without drying it out which I love!
SPF
Okay, yes it might be spring which means it might not be bright Summeresque weather that you find in a holiday brochure but the sun is still out no matter what so I would ensure that I have a beauty product that has some sort of good coverage SPF in just to ensure that your skin is in top form because it can be absolutely raining and there's still a chance that you can get sun damage! I would suggest two products from Kiehls. Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 30 which sinks into the skin quite quickly so it's great for those days where you want something but you don't have the time to wait for it to sink into the skin.
Toner:
Toner's are mainly about balancing the skin. I know that a lot of people don't know what a toner is or decide not to use them but I think that toners are amazing for most skin types as they just make your skin that little bit more better. I've found that personally they help with things such as acne post eating lactose and for when my skin just feels a bit poop which happens quite a bit during Spring. The two that I will be focusing on are the Breath Of Fresh Air Toner Spray from Lush and Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner.
Lush's Breath Of Fresh Air Toner is amazing for several ways. First of all, it has a spray which means if you're not keen on cotton pads like me then you can use this without needing them. The spray also means that you can use this as a cooling mist if you get warm quickly. It's animal friendly which is another reason on why I think it is amazing. The other reasons include its scent and what the ingredients can do for your skin. To start off it contains Fairtrade Organic Aloe Vera Gel which soothes irritation and calms down redness. It also rehydrates the skin. Rose Absolute which helps soothe the skin again and Carrageenan extract which doesnt do much skin wise but it makes the texture of the product the way that it is so if you're looking for something soothing then I would suggest this. I love the Simple Toner due to it being kind to skin so its good for all skin types. It's alcohol free and just makes your skin feel amazing. It doesn't have all the fresh ingredients of Lush or the spray bottle but if you want something cheaper then I would suggest this!
Body Sorbets
No, I don't mean the fruit sorbets that you can eat like Ice cream! I mean body sorbets which are kind of like a gel version of a body butter which means that they are lighter and sink in more quickly compared to a body butter/think body moisturiser. They just save time and if the weather does get warm then there's less chance of anywhere being slippery from body butter. I love the Fuji Green Tea Sorbet from The Body Shop as it has such a bright yet light Spring scent which just makes you want to have a Japanese inspired Picnic in a picturesque field. They're easy to shove in a bag and are amazing to apply if frozen when the weather does end up being warm for that one day a year.
Have you tried any of the above? Do you have any staple beauty tips for Spring? Let me know down below!
I hope that you have enjoyed reading this blog post and I hope that you are enjoying Spring to the fullest!

Structure Shaper Light Creamy Paste Review
Hey!
I thought that today I would talk to you guys about a product that I got sent to try out. Just like all of my beauty products I tried this over a period of at least 7 days (10 days for this product) to ensure that I could give a genuine review as some days your hair decides that it will be different with a product.
A tad commitment shy? This light creamy paste adds texture, definition, natural finish and medium hold without sacrificing style flexibility. Changing your look during the day has never been this easy! Ideal for those who prefer their hair to feel like there is no product in it. Shaper works great on fine to medium hair. The best way to use this is to emulsify a small amount in your hands and work through dry hair. For more definition and less frizz use on damp hair.
The packaging resemebled a luxurious high end product in a high end barbers shop from the soft pastel colour of the tub contrasted with the darkness of the lid which gives it a slight bit of a luxurious look toi the rocker influenced fonts that are printed on the label of the tub.
The scent of the product reminds of a mixture of a mens fragrabce (Invictus from Paco Rabanne mixed with Lilies which I know sounds weird but it has that sort of freshness from the Paco Rabanne mixed with the deepness that you find when you sniff a Lily/smell something that has lilies in. I personally love the scent but I do think that some might not be completely keen on it.
I used Shaper via the directions and styled my hair into the daily sort of comb over that I normally have and went out to do things such as shopping in windy/drizzly weather, errands in somewhat fine weather and other things and it stayed in place for most of the time except the heavy wind but the good thing was that when the wind wrecked the style I could manipulate it back to where I wanted it without needing to add more product which is amazing in my eyes.
The only thing that I would say that I had to pick about is the fact that it doesn't feel like there's anything in your hair which is true but with me you can feel that something has slightly set to ensure that it has some shape to it so I wouldn't really put that statement with your products.
All in all I would give this a good 9/10. I think that it is an amazing product and you get a good amount via a 100g tub. I think that the scent could be bumped up slightly but all in all its an amazing product and I would definitely buy this again or for someone that loves a good hair product.
The STRUCTURE website also has some looks on how to style the hair with the products that they sell so I will link that here in case you want to have a look.
