Lush Mothers Day 2023 First Impressions

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! Recently I popped into Lush White Rose with Luke and noticed the new Mothers Day range was out so I thought that today I would talk to you all about the Mothers Day 2023 range from Lush.

Bath Bombs:

Atom Heart Mother

This is truly the bomb to any Mum’s Heart. This bomb was featured in the 2022 range and is back, back, back again! This bomb contains Bergamot, Brazilian Orange and Neroli Oils and Orange Flower and Rose Absolutes. This may seem like an odd concoction of ingredients but together these ingredients create a beautifully crisp and fresh Apple scent. If you have been shopping at Lush for a while then you may know this scent through the So White or Once Upon A Time family of products. I love this product. To me, the scent of just simply Apples reminds me of Spring for some reason so this product coming out at this time of year is perfect for me. I do realise that to some, this may be a simple scent but it is just lovely. Priced at £5.

Jasmine

The Jasmine flowers are blooming all around us! This product again has been out in previous years. This product contains Jasmine Absolute and Ylang Ylang Oil. This may seem like a simple bath bomb from the ingredients alone but this bath bomb has a bit of a complex fragrance. With both Jasmine and Ylang Ylang, you would ecpect it to smell generically floral but for me that’s not the case. To me, this bomb smells light and floral but with a creamy undertone which is rare to find when it comes to floral scents normally. The creaminess helps to bring out the floral notes but also give it a sort of slight dessert element to it. I guess in a way you could say it was like a pudding that has been mixed with flowers picked from a garden. Talking about creaminess, this bomb also has a creamy element in the bath and makes the skin feel super soft. Definitely one that you could gift to someone who needs a good pamper. Priced at £4.50.

Tea Party

Every day is a perfect day for a tea party! A new bomb for 2023. This bath bomb has been inspired by an afternoon tea fit for the perfect mother. This bomb contains Popping Candy, Sweet Wild Orange and Lime Oils. This bomb smells amazing. Some of you may know this scent from the Celebrate//Golden Wonder/Golden Pudding/Bubbly products that have been out at Lush in previous years. To me, this smells like a fresh and zingy cocktail and would be amazing to use when you’re having a bad day or first thing in the morning. The Popping Candy in this bomb is amazing and you can hear it for a while. (If you want to hear the Popping Candy then go over to my Instagram or TikTok to hear it). This bomb would be a perfect gift to give to anyone who loves a good cup of tea or glitter! Priced at £4.50.

Time To Relax

Oh look, bath bombs are on the mind. It must be time to relax! This bomb contains Epsom Salts, Coconut Milk Powder, Lavender, Chamomile Blue and Neroli Oils and Lavender Absolute. To me, this bomb has a very much pure Lavender scent to it compared to say Twilight from Lush which is more a sort of a malty Lavender scent.

This bomb is a 3 in 1 like UFO or Snow Fairy Lights. The top can be used as its own singular bath bomb, the larger part of this bomb can be used as a singular bomb and the interior of the larger part of the bomb can be sprinkled into the water and used on its own or if you’re feeling in need of a truly relaxing time, you can whack the whole bomb in and watch as the colours and salts explode into the water.  This bomb is very moisturising to the skin due to the Coconut Milk Powder and does give off very Spa vibes which I mean everyone could do with a bit more of a Spa vibe the way this year is going.  I think that this is a perfect bomb to give as a gift but I think that I prefer the Deep Sleep Salt Cube Bomb just as I don’t know how Time To Relax would do in regards to travelling back on public transport and such. This bomb would perfect for someone who is forever on their feet. Priced at £8.50.

Bubble Bars:

Avo Cuddle

Everyone deserves a cuddle! This bubble bar contains Lemongrass and Bergamot Oils to create an uplifting scent. This bubble bar has the same scent as the very well known and loved Avobath Bath Bomb from Lush. This bubble bar looks cute and smells amazing. I absolutely love the Avobath scent as it just perks my day up from its zingy scent and makes me feel amazing when I use it. My only problem is that I wish that this was a Bubbleroon with some luxurious Avocado Butter or something just to ensure that its as nourishing as Avobath is. All in all though its an amazing product with a scent that will spring you into wishing that it was Summer already. I’d definitely recommend this as a gift for someone who loves citrus scents and is longing for a invigorating soak for a while. Priced at £6.

FUN:

Relax And Have Some Fun

We all need to relax and have some fun! This product contains Lavender and Ylang Ylang Oils, Benzoin Resinoid and Tonka Absolute. This mixture of ingredients creates a creamy and sweet Lavender based scent. If you have never used FUN, imagine a multipurpose product that is like playdoh but for the bath or shower! You can create little characters or just pinch some off. FUN can be used as shampoo, soap or as a bubble bar. I know some people that even use to shave themselves with due to the amount of Glycerine that is in a packet of FUN. I have to be in a s specific mood to enjoy this scent (when I am I do like to go full on with the scent).  I do love the concept of FUN and if you are a die hard fan of Sleepy or Twilight from Lush then this will definitely be for you. I would also definitely recommend this for someone who loves to create things. Priced at £9.50.

A photo of a white hand holding a cylindrical bar ion FUN that consists of white and purple colours that is in a cylindrical log with a clear plastic wrapper with a black label with relax and have some fun in white font on a bright background

Shower:

Mimosa

Who doesnt love a Mimosa first thing in the morning? Whether it be served in a glass or in the shower. This gel contains Elderflower Absolute, Fresh Orange Juice, Wine Lees and Sweet Wild Orange Oils, Mimosa and Carnation Absolutes. To me, this smells more on the floral side than Orange but that’s just my nose. I guess its more of a Gin and Elderflower Tonic with a touch of Orange Juice inspired gel than a ‘Mimosa’ inspired gel but that is just me. I do think that this is a great shower gel to use first thing in the morning to wake yourself up and would be a great gift for those who have trouble getting up or want something that’s unique. Priced at £8 for a 120g bottle.

A large pool of bright orange shower gel on a bright background

Soap

Balanites

This soap contains Balanites Oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Aquafaba, Lavender, Chamomile Blue and Tea Tree Oils, Rose Absolute and Silken Tofu. To begin with, this soap creates a nourishing lather and is very moisturising to the skin due to the Oils and Silken Tofu which help to moisturise the skin. To me, this has a very light yet floral scent and would go along amazingly with Time To Relax to create a Spa inspired gift set. For me, its not my favourite scent but I do think that its an amazing soap to have in the bathroom and would be amazing for anyone who has dry or sensitive skin. Priced at £6.

A photo of stacks of rectangular pieces of black soap on a light brown shelf with a black rectangular card with balanites soap in white font on a bright background

Buzzy Mum

When Buzzy Mums are busy, they need a minute to moisturise and meditate. This soap contains Camellia Sativa Seed Infusion, Camellia Sativa Seed Oil, Mimosa and Carnation Absolutes, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Peach Powder and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. To me, this smells very floral with a fruity backnote to it. I guess it is similar to Mimosa but this has a sort of more grounded floral scent to it whereas Mimosa has a sort of fizzy note to it due to the Wine Lees Oil. I do love this soap just from the shade of it and I think that this would be amazing for someone who likes a good soap to be on display in the bathroom. For me, I already have a lot of soaps but I do think that this soap does have a good scent to it. Priced at £6.

A photo of a bunch of yellow and white bee shaped soaps on a light brown shelf with a black rectangular card that says buzzy mum soap in white font on a bright background

Proper Soap

A proper soap is meant for someone who needs a proper time to wind down. This soap contains Rose Water, Jasmine, Lavender, Rose and Vanilla Absolutes and Neroli and Ylang Ylang Oils. This soap does contain a lot of ingredients but it smells divine. The Vanilla comes through quite a bit and gives this soap a sort of Creme Brûlée scent to it which I know sounds weird but it works well with the florals that are in this soap. For me, this is my favourite soap out of the three and would pair well with products such as Butterball or Rose Jam to create a bespoke gift set. Priced at £6.

A stack of rectangular and arched pink and white soap on a light brown shelf with a black rectangular card with proper soap in white font on a bright background

Eyes:

Ol’ Blue Skies Are Back Eye Pads

When Spring comes back so do those good ol’ blue skies! These eye pads contain German Chamomile and Butterfly Pea Flower Infusion, Glycerine, Fresh Aloe Gel and Carrageenan Extract alongside some other goodies. To me, these have a fresh and light scent to them whilst the Glycerine, Aloe and Carrageenan help to nourish and soothe the eye area which we all need. I have a visual impairment and get irritated eyes sometimes so these are amazing for when those times kick in. I do wish that with the name of this product that these eye pads were scented in the Blue Skies and Fluffy Clouds scent but that’s just me. These would be great to add to a hamper or gift set for those who spend all day soaking up screen time due to their job. Priced at £3.50.

A photo of a pair of circular blue eye pads with white dots on them on a bright background

Hands:

Super Duper Hand Cream

Even on the most troubling of days, you are still super duper! This hand cream contains Orange Blossom Infusion, Orange Blossom Flower Water, Almond Milk, Bergamot, Neroli, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang and Tea Seed Oils, Fresh Aloe Gel and Orange Flower Absolute. To me, this has a light floral scent to it with a bubbly citrus backnote. I think that I would prefer it the other way around personally but I do get the point of light scented hand care as it means that it doesnt clash with the fragrance that you are wearing and if you are applying it multiple times a day then it won’t build up and irritate the nose. The texture of the product itself is light due to the Almond Milk and Aloe Gel but at the same time is super moisturising due to the same ingredients. I think that this is a perfect hand care item to give to anyone including yourself that is on the go quite a lot. Priced at £10.

All in all, an amazing mixture of products for Mothers Day.

What is your favourite product from the Lush Mothers Day 2023 range? Let me know down below.

Lush Mothers Day Range 2021 First Impressions

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today, I would talk to you all about the Mothers Day range from Lush for 2021.

Violet Cream Bubble Bar

Don't be scared to use this Bubble Bar! You won't turn into Violet Beauregarde. This product contains Violet Leaf and Pakistani Rose Absolutes and Cananga and Bergamot Oils. This concoction creates a vibrant layered Violet scent which I absolutely love! I didn’t use to like Violet much and I think that I am still picky with the scent, as I'm not the biggest fan of the powdery sort of Violet scents. This is anything but powdery. It's sharp and vibrant and I can't wait to use it!

A petal shaped purple bubble bar with silvery-blue-green lustre on it with a yellow circular middle on a bright background

Atom Heart Mother Bath Bomb

Everyone's Heart is made up of Atoms! This bath bomb not only looks amazing but smells amazing too! This product contains Brazilian Orange and Neroli Oils, Rose and Orange Flower Absolutes which creates a scent which reminds me of biting into a big, round, juicy Apple... If you've tried Once Upon A Time, or, So White from Lush before, then it's the same scent! This product also reminds me of Toy Story for some reason which makes me love it that little bit more.

A spherical blue-green bath bomb with white clouds on the side of the bomb on a bright background

Rose Gold Bath Bomb

Who doesn't love something that is Rose Gold? Rose Gold items have dominated the world the past couple of years. This product contains a mixture of Ylang Ylang and Bergamot Oils, Benzoin Resinoid, and Orris Root Powder. This mixture creates a sort of creamy floral scent to me. I think that this scent is an amazing one to bathe in when you need something to soothe you from the world that we are living in. If you have smelt, or, tried Winter Garden, then you will love this product! I also absolutely adore the design of this bath bomb!

A orange-gold coloured spherical ridged bath bomb coated in gold lustre on a bright background

Mother Of Pearl Bath Bomb

Opulence, you own everything! This bath bomb is an aquatic beauty! This product contains a concoction of, Ylang Ylang, Borage, Hibiscus Seed, and Organic Rose Hip Oils, Vanilla Absolute and Benzoin Resinoid which create a sort of floral yet rich and creamy scent to it. My first impression of this to me, was a weird mix of floral and sort of Custard (I think mainly from the Vanilla Absolute), which made me feel a bit unsure on my opinion of this product. I did love the nourishing factors of this bomb, as to me it looked like it was dipped in skin softening butters which I always love as I have quite dry skin. I'd definitely suggest this as a gift just from the aesthetic of the product.

A white spherical bath bomb coated half in pearlescent silver lustre on a bright background

Jasmine Cream Bubble Bar

This product seems to be part of a new concept that Lush have brought out for Mothers Day, which seems to based off these floral chocolate creams that are well known in the UK. This product contains, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Bergamot Oil. This mix gives off a slightly powdery floral note which is lovely and has a nice nourishing surprise in the middle of it. Again, I think just from aesthetics, this and Violet Cream would be perfect to give as gifts to people this year!

A four piece white petal shaped bubble bar coated in light silver lustre on a bright background

Mamma Mia Body Scrub

Here we go again! Mamma Mia Body Scrub has been out for a couple of years now and I've tried it a couple of times, so I guess this one isn't as much of a first impression compared to the plethora of products that are mentioned above. However, this scrub contains, Bergamot and Rosewood Oils and Vanilla Absolute which to me create a deep sort of sweet Vanilla scent. On top of that, this product contains, Pink Grapefruit Puree, and, Pink Grapefruit Peel Decoction which create a citrus note which cuts through all of that sweetness. Furthermore, for the scrubbing component of this product, it contains, Fine Sea Salt, Himalayan Salt and Rose Clay which give you a deep scrub. I enjoy this product but it reminds me of kind of Grapefruit flavoured Custard which means I have to be in the mood to use this which is normally when I want a scrub that evokes the sort of beach vibe for me.

If You Wanna Be My Lover, You Gotta Get With My Shower Gel Addiction | Lush Ginger Shower Gel Review

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today I would talk to you all about the Ginger Shower Gel from the Lush Mothers Day 2020 Range.

This year, Lush's Mothers Day range was inspired by the Spice Girls. This included a delicate Baby's Bum Cleanser, a roaring yet spicy Bath Bomb inspired by Scary Spice, a luxurious Posh Shampoo Bar, a sporty little number in the form of Knock Out Bubble Bar and Ginger Shower Gel.

Four clear cylindrical bottles of different sizes filled with sparkly orange liquid with black labels on them all saying ginger shower gel in white font on a large light brown rectangular shelf on a bright background.

List Od ingredients:
Sodium Cocoamphoacetate Sodium Laureth Sulfate Glycerine Fresh Ginger Root Decoction Lauryl Betaine Mimosa Absolute Bergamot Oil Ginger Oil Sicilian Red Mandarin Oil Geranium Oil Sandalwood Oil  Xanthan Gum Carrageenan Extract Titanium Dioxide Propylene Glycol Synthetic Fluorphlogopite Tin Oxide Silica Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone *Benzyl Benzoate Citronellol *Eugenol *Limonene *Linalool Perfume Colour 16035 Colour 45410:2 Colour 14700 Colour 77491

The first thing, that I thought that I would talk about is the texture of the gel. The gel is slightly different compared to most shower gels that you have tried before. It's thicker than most gels. When you use it on yourself, it has a tendency to be more like an oil rather than a thick lathering Shower Gel. I think that this is due to the Xantham Gum that is in the base of this shower gel. At first, I kind of hated it as I'm used to lather based gels, but I have adapted to loving Due to the texture, it does mean that I have a tendency on using more than I think that I need when I am using the Gel. it. If you have tried any of the Lush Shower Gels within 2020, then you will know exactly what I mean.

Did you know that the Ginger fragrance from Lush, was one of their first fragrances that Lush released? The scent of this Gel can be sparated into two parts. Wood, Ginger and Mimosa. This Shower Gel is also a Fine Fragranced Shower Gel, which I think means that the fragrance that is sold within solid, 30ml and 100ml has been directly turned into a Shower Gel and not diluted. I could be wrong though...

When you smell this directly from the bottle. you get a sort of an almagation of Ginger, Wood and Florals. When you apply this to your body, I got a hit of deep sort of smoky wood first from the Sandalwood and Bergamot. Then the Ginger Root and Ginger Oil then comes through which envelop you in a spicy and warming aroma. After the Ginger hits you, its balanced out straight after with Mimosa, Red Mandarin and Geranium which ends your shower journey with a slightly spicy, but mainly floral note. If you like the Ginger perfume or anything with a spicy yet slightly floral based then you will love this!

Would I buy it again? Yes. I absolutely love this scent. It's one of those that can be used for a mixture of seasons and moods. Versality is always good when it comes to scents. The scent can be used definitely for Spring, Autumn and pretty much Winter, especially from the spice and floral notes in this product.

What's your favourite Shower Gel? What's your favourite Lush product?

You're Totally Awesome! | The Body Shop Briggate Mothers Day Showcase

Hey!

A while ago, I was invited to The Body Shop's Mothers Day event and I thought that I would tell you guys about it. I know that it's past Mothers Day now but I hope that you still enjoy this post nevertheless.

Myself and Luke were already in Leeds due to coming in to review the wonderful Bar Soba but like per usual we came in a bit early and decided to do some shopping. We wandered around a few shops and then headed to Costa to have a breather for a few minutes because honestly Luke gets tired quickly from swishing his cane and I get tired quickly from guiding him. After a while, we decided that we would wander on over to The Body Shop for a quick look as I wanted to check out a few of their masks and the new Liquid Peels.

We wandered in and found the face masks quite easily. After a minute or so, a staff member came up to us and remembered that we were bloggers from a previous event and asked if we were coming to the event that was going on later on in the day. We sadly said no. The staff assistant was confused and grabbed the clipboard. After doing this, she asked if we wanted to come and of course we said yes!

Fast forward to later on in the day.

As soon as we arrived back at the beautiful building, we were greeted by a wonderful staff member of staff. After about thirty seconds, someone came up to us and offered us something to drink. We both got a glass of Prosecco to begin with but I normally only drink one glass due to the fact that I get a burning sensation in my chest after drinking it so I drank some lovely refreshing fruit juice for the rest of the night after that one glass.  We perused some of the products such as the Fuji Green Tea range until a few other bloggers entered.

Ten minutes or so passed by then we were all gathered around to have a masterclass about fragrances which included an interesting talk about babies and their relationship/attachment with scents and how certain smells can make a memory come to life. The lovely woman then came around with testers of scents such as White Musk (which contains synthetic musk to ensure that animals aren't harmed to extract it for the product) and other scents from The Body Shop.

Perfume bottles had been spritzed and now it was time to let us roam but as soon as we did roam, a lovely woman came up to us and asked if we wanted any delicious canapes (both savoury and sweet) which I obviously said yes to. The ones that I definitely loved were the Brownie mainly because I love a good Brownie and the mini meringue that had a raspberry in the middle which made it look like a pretty flower which seems fitting for the Spring season.

Myself and Luke then went to the personalised body butter station where we could personalise a body butter for our loved ones (eg Mothers) or if you're me then you can personalise it for yourself. When it comes to the personalised body butters (which are only available in certain stores) you pick what you want on the front, the text eg Jamie, Mum etc and then it goes onto your body butter. As the Almond Milk & Honey range was brand new to the public, we were given a personalised tub of this. I love this scent as it's clean but sweet. It reminds me of summer nights and sun tan lotion which sounds weird I know but if you smell it you'll get what I mean.

There was also a massage station but honestly myself and Luke just wanted to go home so we said our goodbyes to everyone including the lovely Lucinda and Lucy (who we spent the night chatting to) and made our way out of the store and headed for home.

We received a goodie bag to share which we shared which included a bottle of the White Musk EDT, a mini British Rose Body Butter, a mini pot of Vitamin E Moisture Cream, a mini Green Tea Shower Gel, a mini Moringa Body Scrub and a mini Shea Hand Cream. The goodie bag also included the Contour Palette and The Poppy Red Lip Palette.

Have you been to The Body Shop lately? Let me know down below!

Thanks to the staff at The Body Shop Leeds Briggate and the PR staff at The Body Shop for putting on a great night and for inviting us!

I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post and I hope that you come back for the next post.

Diary Of A Meowing Lushie: Lush Spring York Event

Meow!

Welcome to another DOAML post. This post isn't a review or anything like that but it is definitely Lush related so I thought that I would talk to you guys about it.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend the Lush Spring event in York by the lovely Urika. Click on her name to go to her blog and I would like to thank her for some of the shots of the products within this post! I got the email and obviously said yes as I love Lush and I definitely love finding out about the new ranges that are on offer within stores.

We arrived at the store a tiny bit late due to Google Maps wanting to take us on a weird route... (It's the fact that we got to the store that counts, right?!) We entered and was welcomed in by the lovely staff. (If you have read my blog before then you will know that I'm not great with names unless you shout them at me and drill the names into my head...) We were first told about what was going on throughout the night and what ranges we were going to have a look at.

We were also asked if we wanted a drink which I said yes to because I always have a dry mouth so I always need a drink... We were offered Lemonade or Raspberry and Elderflower. I went for the Raspberry and Elderflower as it seemed a bit more Spring like compared to Lemonade which I think is more Summery. We were also told that there were snacks on offer in the form of biscuits and chocolate eggs because well Easter and chocolate eggs. The biscuits were Vegan and the Chocolate eggs were vegetarian which was good to know as every bloggers dietary requirements aren't the same and because Lush are known for catering the Vegan and Vegetarian communities for beauty products so it's good to see that they carry this on within their bloggers events.

The first task that we had to do was to collect three Fluffy Eggs that were dotted all around the store and the first person to find three won a Sunflower Bubble Bar which is only available in certain Gift Sets that are sold in all Lush stores within the UK or via going to Lush Oxford Street I believe... If that is possible for you then you are very lucky! I didn't win sadly but I had a lot of fun scouring and dashing around the store trying to find the bath bombs. I rhink that this task and the one below prizes were the same but I honestly can't fully remember...

The next task was to make something Alice In Wonderland inspired out of Fun. The point of this task was to just have fun and then to introduce yourself with your design. I tried to make a White Rabbit but let's just say this Rabbit looked more like what someone would run over in the middle of the night but its the thought and effort that counts, right?!

We were then given one last task which was to take as many pictures and put them on instagram via the in store wifi. God, I love it when a store has wifi! The one that was the most prettiest would win a gift set. The only bad thing was that my phone was dead so I had to use Lukes and that we had to go home before the prize winner was announced. I hope whoever won is loving their gift set!

We then went round to the demo area where we got shown a mixture of things which included most of the Mothers Day collection and the new Easter collection.

The first thing that I can remember was the Bunch Of Carrots. This product comes in a bhnch of three hence the name. These contain Sicilian Lemon, Bergamot and Buchu Oils which give the product a deep zesty scent. You use these like you use the Wands at Christmas time which is just run them under a tap and leave them to dry. Personally, I would take one off the bunch and then use them in the wand way or if you don't want any mess then just crumble into a bath and then run the bath. They cost £6.25 which is pretty good for three bars.

We also saw Ultraviolet being demonstrated which was out last year. It smells of Parma Violets so if you love them then you will love this! It ddoes have lustre so if you're not a fan of that then I doubt you will enjoy it. It turns the water a lovely purple colour and leaves bubbles that feel like silk! It can be used for way more than one bath so if you're wanting something that smells of Violets and something a bit decadent then this is for you! Costs

We got shown and smelt both soaps which are Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Sunrise.

SOTR is based off the Rainbow within the Wizard Of Oz. I'm not sure what this has to do with Easter but I think it's more of a Spring thing. The massive version has all the colours of the rainbow on therefore when a staff member cuts a piece for you, it won't be the same as any other piece! It contains Sicilian Mandarin, Neroli and Rose Absolute. I think that the Neroli is the most definitive within the bunch scent wise but Neroli is meant to help you be happy which is a pretty good bonus! Priced at £4.25 per 100g.

Sunrise. This soap is actually based on the Sun which is an interesting concept to build upon. This has been done via the colour been a mixture of burning red and glistening orange and also via the soap being hard on the outside but squidgy in the middle. The squidginess is via Murumuru Butter and Tofu which represents a core. The scent is the same as the Brightside Bubble Bar which is Mandarin Oil which means that it is very Orange scented but not in a way that is overwhelming. Priced at £4.25.

We then went onto Bath Bombs. There is a good few bath bombs that are out this Spring so I'm just going to mention two because it is easier doiing that. There is the Which Came First? This has been out in previous years under the name The Immaculate Eggception where there was two bombs in different colours but this year it has been changed in many ways. WCF is a bomb that you can smash. If you remember last year this concept was shown via Love Locket and many other products. You can smash/crack this bomb open which can be used on 2 baths and then there is a surprise in the middle which is another egg. This concept is also shown via Humpty Dumpty which I personally think looks a bit creepy. This product contains Vanilla Absolute, Grapefruit Oil and Lemon Oil which gives it a sweet yet uplifting scent. Priced at £6.95.

The other bomb is Golden Egg. If you read my blog this time or followed me on Social Media this time last year then you will know how much I love Golden Egg. This product is a cross between a Bomb and a Melt as it has glitter and fizzes which makes it a ballistic/bomb but it also has a core of Fair Trade Cocoa Butter and Olive Oil which nourishes the skin. There is a lot of lustre with this product so if you're not a fan of it then you might not be a fan of this. The scent is made up of Orange and Bergamot which creates a sweet Honey/Toffee scent somehow but it is to die for! Priced at £3.95.

I also purchased something which I am going to put in another paragraph as I thought I might as well as link all the products I got together. We browsed and chatted a bit more and headed off for the train.

I also received a goodie bag which I can't thank the staff enough for giving me. The bag contained a Bunch Of Carrots which I mentioned above, a block of SOTR that I have mentioned above, a Golden Egg and a 100g bottle of Yummy Mummy. If you want to find out more about the shower cream then click on Yummy Mummy. I also scoured the shelves and decided on one thing to buy which I think is good as I rarely just buy one thing from Lush. I decided to buy The Experimenter. If you want to find out more then click here.

Have you checked out any of the new Spring ranges from Lush? Let me know down below! Do you have a favourite product from the Spring Ranges from Lush? Is it the Unicorn Horn from Valentines Day or is it mentioned in this post or is it something completely different? Let me know down below!

I can't thank the guys enough at Lush York for inviting me to the event and putting on such a great event. I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post and I hope to see you next time for another post. I hope that you are enjoying my DOAML series!

PS: Thanks to all the lovely bloggers that attended and the ones that I got to know throughout the event. Check either @_LushYork on Twitter or #LushSpring on Twitter to find out more blog posts from this event!
