Lush New Bubble Bars 2021 First Impressions

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I recently popped into Lush White Rose with Luke to try out their new bubble bars. We did also pop into Lush Leeds Spa due to White Rose not having all of them. I thought that today, I would talk to you all about the brand new bubble bars.

A semi circular arched shaped bubble bar with all of the colours of the rainbow in arched stripes on it on a bright background

Apple Crumble

Take a bite, dearie. Who doesn't love an Apple? They keep the doctor away! I love the design of this bar as it looks like an Apple but in bubble bar form. This bar contains, Fresh Apple Pulp, Myrrh Resinoid, Orange Flower Absolute and Cinnamon Leaf Oil. This creates a sort of refreshing crisp yet light Red Apple scent with a touch of spice. I love anything spice and I adore Apple Crumbles so this one drew me instantly in. This bar is actually a Bubbleroon as this product contain Shea and Cocoa Butters in the middle which make a luxurious bath which helps to soften and nourish your skin. I did wish that this bar did have a tiny bit more of an Apple scent to it but overall I love the design and the smell of this one.

A bright red oval shaped bubble bar which looks like an apple with a oval green accessory on the top of it filled with some white butter on a background of brown rectangular shelves filled with different shaped and coloured bath bombs on a bright background

Castle In The Clouds

Surfing like a castle in the cloud! Who doesn't want to bathe in something that is as light as a cloud? This bar contains, Geranium Oil, Jasmine Absolute and Benzoin Resinoid. This to me created a light sweet floral scent. I love floral scents but sadly, I don't think that this one is for me. I got a weird mixture of floral, faint berry and sort of a cream based note. Maybe I need to sniff this one again but honestly, its not my favourite.

A spiralled sort of castle shaped bubble bar with blue white and pastel pink features on a bright background

Frozen Reusable

Let it go into the tub! Summer is slowly approaching and who doesn't love something that will chill you right down? This bar contains, Spearmint Oil and Fine Sea Salt. I believe this is the same scent as the Cream Egg Bubble Bar but I could be wrong. I love the addition of Salt (but then again I am quite salty in life) but I do also understand that flakes of salt can create a bit of a mess. I love the Mint scent due to it being refreshing and cooling but I do have a couple of Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Bars which are a similar scent so it may take me a while to get around to this bubble bar. If you love anything Mint then I do suggest that you try this Bubble Bar.

A white pale hand holding a light blue star shaped bubble bar with blue-silver lustre and crystals of sea salt on a bright background

Lemon Crumble

Fancy a slice? I love Lemons. Anyone close to me will know that I have a weird talent of being able to eat slices of Lemon whole without any reaction. This product definitely enhanced my love for Lemons when I first saw it. I adore how it looks exactly like a fresh luscious Lemon. This product contains, Sicilian Lemon Oil and Fresh Lemon which creates an intense zingy yet fresh Lemon scent. This bar is also a Bubbleroon due to the Shea and Cocoa Butters in the middle of it which create a moisturising bath so when you get out of the bath, everyone will be fancying a slice of you!

A light white pale hand holding a bright yellow glittery lemon shaped bubble bar filled with pale yellow butter in the middle on a bright background

Matcha Roll

Who doesn't love a Matcha Latte? Before I get into the scent of this Roll, I have to admit, I was drawn in by the swirls of vibrant green mixed with the start white which makes up the rest of the bubble bar. This product looked so mesmerising in the store. This roll contains, Cardamom, Persian Lime and Almond Essential Oils, Tonka and Sesame Seed Absolutes and Green Tea Powder. This all combines to create a sort of creamy Coconut and earthy but slightly spicy fragrance which I absolutely adore. Its a match for me and Matcha Roll.

A oval shaped green and white swirled bubble bar held by a white pale hand over a white oval bath tub on a bright background

Mrs Whippy

Whip it real good! Who doesn't want to bathe in what is essentially ice cream goodness? Mrs Whippy doesn't just look the part, but smells the part too! This bar contains, Buchu and Almond Essential Oil, Tonka Absolutes and Fine Sea Salt. If you have smelt Candy Rain then imagine the same exact scent in a bubble bar! I think that for me this one will grow on me as I love using Candy Rain but only in small doses as for me the sort of Vanilla Milkshake-esque scent is something I have to be in a particular mood for.

A oval whipped up shaped white bubble bar on a bright background

Puppy Love

And they call it Puppy Love! Who doesn't love a cute little Puppy? This cute little friend looks so mood enhancing and so is the scent! This delightful doggo contains, Sicilian Red Mandarin and Almond Essential Oils which create a very sherbet-y sort of sharp Raspberry scent. The best sort of way I could describe it is a sort of like Pink Lemonade but in the sense that there's more Pink than Lemonade. I absolutely adore this scent. I wasn't sure on how I would feel about it but when I smelt it I fell in love with it... Its just so sharp and fruity and I think it would be amazing to use on a fresh Spring morning.

A yellow pug shaped bubble bar with red heart shaped eyes held by a pale white hand on a bright background

Rainbow

When you use this Bubble Bar, you definitely know that you're not in Kansas anymore! Who doesn't love a good Rainbow. When I first saw this online, I honestly thought it was a reincarnation of the old favourite, Dorothy. Therefore, when I saw that it wasn't. I was a little bit disappointed. Again, as someone who is very very queer, I love that Lush has created a Rainbow based Bubble Bar. This beautiful bar contains, Sicilian Lemon and Lemon Myrtle Oils and Benzoin Resinoid. This creates a sort of muted fruity Lemon scent. It's not as strong as Lemon Crumble but I think it would be a great bar to use when you need something to perk you up in the morning!

A semi circular arched shaped bubble bar with all of the colours of the rainbow in arched stripes on it on a bright background

Raspberry Blower

Go on, give it a blow! Who doesn't love a multi-purpose product? Not only can you create bubbles but you can also create hours of fun just by simply blowing into the hole. This product contains Bergamot, Grapefruit and Almond Essential Oils which creates a slightly sweet, slightly floral sherbet scent. If you have had anything that is Space Girl scented then you will love this bar as it shares the scent! As you may know, I adore the Space Girl scent so I adored this bar when I first sniffed it and loved how you could do more than one thing with it.

A large pink raspberry shaped bubble bar with a hole in the middle attached to a light brown wooden stick on a bright background

Support Bubble

Not only do we need Support Bubbles during these troubling times, but we also need bubbles to support us during these troubling times too. This product contains, Grapefruit and Petitgrain Oils which create a sort of fruity slightly herbal scent. Sadly, I think its one that I have to be really in the mood for so I'm still a bit unsure on how I feel about it. I think that this one again may grow on me the more I sniff it.

A light silver pink bubble shaped bubble bar on a bright background

Twilight

Let the sun go down whilst you dip into the calming waters that surround you. This bar looks amazing. I love how it actually looks like the sun is going down. It's fabulous! This scent contains, Lavender and Ylang Ylang Oils, Tonka Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid and Lavender Powder. This all creates a sweet lavender scent. If you have enjoyed any Twilight based product like the Spray or Bath Bomb then you will adore this. I quite like this for when I need a little relaxing, saying that, I think there is another relaxing Bubble Bar in this range that I prefer.

A light rounded squared purple yellow and slightly red bubble bar with some embedded lavender seeds in it on a bright background

The Great Wave

Woah, you're going on a ride of your life! This bar is massive. Not only does it look like the great wave but it feels it in the palm of your hand. This bar contains Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Fine and Coarse Sea Salts. I think that his bar would be amazing to use throughout Spring or when you want something that is light and floral. I like this but I sadly don't think its my favourite out of the range.

A light blue and white wave shaped bubble bar on a bright background

Vesuvio*

Be careful otherwise it will spit all over you! Since I was little, I was always fascinated with Mount Vesuvius thus having one that I can use in my bath enlightens me from within. This bar contains, Almond Essential, Cinnamon Leaf and Brazilian Orange Oils which create a lovely slightly citrus spicy Almond scent. I normally don't like Almond scents but the spice cuts through the sweetness which is what intrigues me to use it and see what it is like. If you liked Cinders then you will like this.

A red-brown volcano shaped bubble bar with a ring of orange-yellow at the top on a bright background

Worry Monster*

This Little Monster will never make you worry again! As someone who suffers from an Anxiety disorder and has constant worries every moment of every day, I was intrigued to see how this bar would smell like. Not only is this bar cute as hell like most little human monsters but also smells divine. As I mentioned earlier I thought there was more of a relaxing bar than Twilight, and this is that bar! This bar contains, Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Fennel Oils and Cocoa Butter which creates a soothing yet slightly herbal nourishing bath which I adore. It is an amazing scent to relax with!

Lush Harajuku Bath Bombs 2020 First impressions

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today, I would talk to you all about the seven bath bombs from the Harajuku range that dropped at all Lush stores, earlier in the year.

Notice: I smelled all of the products within this post before the lockdown and I didn't go out during these difficult times just for the intention of creating content.

Temple Of The Sky

First of all, I love the design of this product. For some particular reason, this bomb reminds me of Zelda. I'm not really sure why but it just does. The Blue and Yellow of the product, make me also think about the Spring. The bright blue skies mixed with the yellow of the blooming flowers that you sometimes see whilst on walks. The scent is amazing. Bright and citrusy. If you love anything that is bright and just invigorating when it comes to smells then you will love this one. I kinda think of this, as, a mixture of Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit, all crammed into a bath bomb!

Tengri

I loved the look of this one. I can imagine that this product, will create a great colour when it is in the tub. This product does contain Lavender, but from the first sniff of this product, I didn't get Lavender. I'm not the biggest fan of Lavender, so that's a plus for me, but it might be different when it is dropped into water. This product reminds me of, Big Blue, from Lush. It also reminds me of that sort of clean Eucalyptus based Shower Gels that you find at most luxury brands such as Molton Brown.

A group of blue spherical bath bombs with a geometrical design all over them in a large light brown wooden box with a black label with tenor in white font on a bright background

Black Ninja

Black Ninja is such a cute bath bomb. I love any product that is black, as it matches the colour of my soul. The main scent that I got from this one, was a mixture of Patchouli and Floral. I realise that sounds like such a weird mixture, but I kind of liked it. I do like most things that contain Patchouli though. This product also contains Popping Candy, so I would love to see how the little ninja pops off within the water.

Rose Clay Salt Cube

Rose Clay is one that I was confused at when I saw that it had dropped at Lush. I was kind of expecting it to be Rose Jam scented, due to Rose Jam being such a beloved scent at Lush. Nevertheless, the scent of Rose Clay Salt Cube is something that I haven't smelt before. It's slightly florally, like freshly picked flowers with a hint of freshness. If you like scents that aren't full on, then I would definitely recommend this one.

Flight

Sadly, I don't think I was fully sold on this one. I always have a few that take me a few times sniffing before I love them when it comes to Lush products. I think that Flight is one of them. The smell was kind of a mix of fresh and woody. I think I would need to try this one in the bath before fully making my mind up on if I like it or not.

Roar!

If you love Bath products, and you love any type of dinosaur based film, then I think that you're going to love this one. This is one of the cutest Bath Bombs that Lush has created in a long while. The scent is slightly earthy, but at the same time, it is slightly fresh. If you love sort of Grass based scents then you will love this one. I think that this is a great product to use when you want perking up a bit. I think that it would also be a great product to give as a gift too.

Blue Gardenia Salt Cube

Again, like the Rose Salt Cube, I was expecting it to be heavily floral scented. (If you're familiar with Lush, then I was expecting tt to smell slightly like Goddess). Instead, it smelt slightly crisp with a whisper of floral to em. Slightly like fresh cotton with some fresh flower petals mixed in for good measure.

My Top Ten Favourite Lush 30th Anniversary Bath Bombs Before Some Of Them Go From Stores

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today, I would talk to you all about some of my favourite Bath Bombs, from the Lush 30th Anniversary Range. A fair few of them are slowly leaving stores, so before they go, I thought I would tell you which ones I love. (Most are staying via Lush Liverpool Spa and the website so if you like the sound of any, you can always get them that way.)

Black Rose

This one will be staying in stores, and there's a very good reason as to why! First of all, this bomb shares its scent with the Rose Jam family, which is already amazing in my opinion. Second of all, this product is not only a bath bomb, but also contains a Bath Melt. This means that you get the enjoyment of the fizz and the bubbling, and the creaminess from the Bath Melt at the same time. Another thing about this product that I love, is that the melt is coated in glitter, and well, who doesn't love some glittery goodness? The bomb is a bit on the expensive side, but you are getting two products in one, and it is quite big so you could chop it in half if you wanted to.

Turmeric Latte

This one is thankfully also staying. This is one of my most favourite bath products ever. (If you haven't checked out my pot about the Turmeric Latte Gel then click here.) This is spicy, sweet, smoky and just all round spectacular. It does pack a good amount of glitter. Saying that, it is also one of the creamiest and most conditioning products that I have ever tried. I can't use enough words to explain my love for this scent.

Kappa

It's a shame this one will be going from stores! This has been one of my all time favourite fresh bath bombs, along with Intergalactic. It's fresh and watery with a bit of a citrusy tang. It contains Cucumber and is based of a Japanese Demon, which I kind of love. I could see this returning at some point in some form. Maybe a Shower Jelly? Who knows?

A blue spherical bath bomb with two white circles and two black dots on a bright background

The Comforter

If you have read my blog for a while, then you will know that I have a very strong relationship with The Comforter scent. Creamy and fruity at the same time. I absolutely adore it! (I'm still salty that The Comforter Shower Cream still isn't a product, but hey ho.) Carrying on, when I heard that a The Comforter Bomb was coming out, I was ecstatic. This bomb is slightly creamy and nourishing with a Blackcurrant burst. I have to admit, that it is a bit more creamy than the renowned Bubble Bar, but I still think that it is an amazing product!

A spherical white and purple-pink Nath bomb with circles all over it on a white background

Yog Nog

If you haven't guessed, I love my sweet scents every once in a while. It's probably quite obvious from this post alone. Yog Nog is one of my all time favourite scents. Like Turmeric Latte, its sweet, slightly spicy and creamy, but Yog Nog has a distinctive sort of Burnt Toffee scent to it which makes it irresistible. (Nearlty irresistible enough to eat it, thankfully I've resisted the urge a fair few times.) This one is sweet but has a bit of a bitter note from Clove and Cocoa Powder, which makes it the best bomb for when you want to shut yourself away from everything and just soak for a bit.

A gold white and orange bath bomb on a bright background

Star Spell

I always love to wish upon a star. Sadly this is another bomb that will be leaving stores soon. I love this bomb, because it smells of the Carrot/Snowman scent. (The Carrot/Snowman scent always makes me remember the Carrot Soap that had a white bunny engraved on each slice, do any of you remember that product?) It's citrusy but with a sort of deep scent to it. I also love Star Spell because, well, you get two bath bombs that creates a surprise in the bath when you push the two halves together. It also has so much Popping Candy in it, that, crackles for a very very long time.

Kitsune

Foxes are always adorable! I love this product because not only does it have such an intricate design on it to represent a fox in Japanese culture (I only know Kitsune from Anime programmes that I've watched, oops), it also has such an amazing smell. This product fizzes a bit and foams a bit which is amazing, but, it also has a bright yet slightly peppery Lemon scent which just makes you feel that little bit happier. If you haven't tried this one, then I urge you to.

Groovy Kind Of Love

Everything groovy, baby! This is one of the prettiest Bath Bombs that I have used in a long time. It's colourful and just emits happy vibes into the atmosphere as soon as you drop it into the water. This bomb also has a sort of Bubblegum scent to it which weirdly uplifts you when you use it. I say weirdly, because well Bubblegum is normally sickly and sweet whereas this version of Bubblegum has a sort of fresh note to it. If you're wondering if its like Snow Fairy, then trust me when I tell you that it is nothing like Snow Fairy. It's also in Shower Gel form on the website. I was tempted to get this when I got the Turmeric Latte one, but I limited myself to one and well, I was just that little bit more interested in seeing what Turmeric Latte would be like in a shower gel form.

A ridged oval bath bomb coloured with red, yellow, blue and purple on a bright background

Marshmallow World

I wish I could have a Marshmallow as a cushion to sleep on! It does contain natural Marshmallow Root Powder which makes it Vegan. This also contains Granulated Sugar which gives your skin a slight bit of a scrub in the tub. This World smells just like American Cream, which is slightly creamy and powdery. it honestly reminds me of a mix between Strawberry Milkshake and Parma Violets. This bomb is also super nourishing and is one of those slightly slow fizzes. This means that you can relax and soak whilst you slowly watch the bomb fizz foam and dissolve, compared to those that fizz and dissolve very quickly, I love anything American Cream/Big scented.

A white and pink spherical bath bomb with a light pink strip in the middle of it on w bright background

Karma Yantra

Karma, Karma, Chameleon! You come and go! Sadly, it's going from stores. I love anything Karma scented. I love the sweet scent of Orange mixed with spicy Patchouli. I can only really enjoy it when I'm in the right mood but when I am, oh my god, give me all of the Karma! The design on this bomb is so pretty and instantly gives me sort go Zelda vibes for some reason? I love how this one foams up. This bomb also gets stronger throughout the duration of the bath.

There you have it, my top ten favourite Lush Harajuku/30th Anniversary Range. Have you tried any if the products mentioned? Let me know!

Peeking Into Harajuku | Lush Harajuku Exclusives First Impression

Hey everyone!

How are you? Is everything going good? Let me know down below!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I went to Manchester last week and popped into the wonderful Lush Arndale. When I arrived, I noticed that they had a fair new products out to commemorate the 30th Birthday of the Bath Bomb, so I thought that I would tell you what Bath Bombs they had in today's post. (If you wanna read about my last Lush post, then, click here.)

A tall rectangular portraitt black board with We Run The World in bright white casual font next to a large light brown table containing seven different coloured spherical bath bombs on a bright background

Kitsune

Kitsune refers to a Fox in Japanese culture. They are also known to be intelligent beings with paranormal skills that mature with age. This bath bomb looks amazing and smells divine. The scent consists of Sicillian Lemon and Patchouli. The Lemon will help to refresh your mind and help you feel awake, whereas the Patchouli will help recharge you. The Lemon is definitely the more prominent smell, as it takes a couple of sniffs to realise that there is Patchouli in there.

A line of bright yellow semi spherical bath bombs with ridges all over it on a large rectangular light brown table with a portrait standing black rectangular board with Kitsune in white casual font on a bright background

Groovy Kind Of Love

It's groovy baby! This Bath Bomb contains, Rosewood, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang. I expected it to be very floral, just from this description, but that's not the case. This bomb has a sort of flowery essence to it with a sort of deep pepper note going on. Floral and Pepper sounds weird, I know, but stay with me. When you sniff it, you get the powdery floral-ness of the Ylang Ylang and the Rosewood. That's expected. However, on the second sniff, you get the deep Pepper note from the Bergamot.

A selection of pink and purple spherical bath bombs with ridges all over them on a wide light brown rectangular shelf with a black board saying Groovy Kind of Love in white casual font on a bright background

Harajuku

All of the new bath bombs have come from the bath bomb only store in Harajuku, Japan, so it makes sense to talk about the self-titled Bath Bomb. Harajuku contains Brazilian Orange Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Vanilla Absolute. The best way that I can explain this scent, is, Bubblegum. By Bubblegum, I don't mean Snow Fairy. I mean pure unfiltered Bubblegum. The stripes of colour, instantly make me think that this will be an amazing one for the water! I like this one but I think it's an one in a while bomb for me.

A selection of pink and yellow spherical bath bombs on a wide light brown rectangular shelf with a black rectangular board saying harajuku in white font on a bright background

Turmeric Latte

Oh my god. This bath bomb. Go and smell it if you can. Turmeric Latte contains, Tonka Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid, Vanilla Absolute, Turmeric Powder, and, Coconut Milk Powder. The Bath Bomb smells spicy but sweet. It reminds me of the Viktor and Rolf fragrance 'Spicebomb.' I just love it. It's sweet enough to be used in the Summer but spicy enough to use in the Winter. I actually bought one of these to use in the bath at the hotel I was staying in, but  sadly I didn't have time to use it.

Chocomint

Mint Aero Bubbles in a Bath Bomb form? Who would've thought it?! This bomb contains Almond Oil, Cocoa Powder, and, Spearmint Oil, When I sniffed this, I mainly got the Spearmint with a hint of Cocoa. I think that the Almond is mainly more there to make the bomb a little bit sweet. I think that this would be a great one to use for sore muscles, or for a morning bath. (Morning baths are amazing, especially at the weekend!)

A group of bright pastel green spherical bath bombs on a large wide rectangular light brown shelf with a black board saying Chocomint in white font on a bright background

Magma

Who doesn't love a volcano? Magma is here to make all of our hearts rupture with joy! This bomb contains Ginger Powder, Mustard Powder, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Peppermint Oil and Popping Candy. If you've ever smelt Wiccy Magic Muscles, then it's on the same lines as that. I love this one as it's spicy and just great for when you need a hot bath. I love anything with Cinnamon in so I knew that I would love this instantly from the first sniff. The popping candy is mainly more there for sound aesthetics, as it helps the bath bomb to sound like a rupturing Volcano.

A selection of bright red spherical bath bombs with yellow crack patterns all over on a wide light brown rectangular shelf with a black board saying magma on white font on a bright background

Moon Spell

Moon Spell is a very different sort of bomb. It comes in two parts, and when you push them together in the water, it makes the bath glow with delight. This product contains just Brazillian Orange Oil. It's deep but citrus and I love it.
