Jamie Spills The Tea | Get Tested

Hey!

Welcome to another episode of Jamie Spills The Tea. I know that this series is meant to be about people within the LGBT+ community but I thought that I would talk to you all about something that the LGBT+ and well all the communities should be taking seriously which is getting tested.

Stock image of a hospital corridor.

Getting tested is normally connoted as a scary process but honestly its not that bad and if you need to get it done then its just best to bite the bullet and get it done with. Yes it might involve things such as an oral swab which might make you gag violently for a minute or so but its only for a minute. You also get to have a wonderful conversation with whoever is doing the testing. (Sidenote, can we just give a massive applause to all the staff who do this as they are amazing!)

Once that is done with, you do have the awkward and very anxious wait of getting the results but if there is anything wrong then they will help you out and if there is nothing wrong then you get the amazing and you can ensure that you keep on having an amazing day and life.

I just think that it's best for everyone to get tested to ensure that you're completely clean as a clean life is a great life. It might be best to research your local clinic.

I hope that this very very short post has educated slightly in any way possible. I know that it was shor but I thought that it was needed.

Keep having a great day. Come back next Wednesday for a more celeb filled Jamie Spills The Tea.

Thanks for reading!

Jamie Spills The Tea | Lady Gaga

Hey!

Welcome to a brand new episode of Jamie Spills The Tea. I thought due to everything that has gone on this week that it would be a good thing to spill all the tea about Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga (aka Stefani Germanotta) was born on March 28th, 1986) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, advocate and much more. She came to fame when she released her first song under Lady Gaga called Just Dance which also featured Colby O'Donis. She studied at Tisch School in New York City before dropping out to pursue a singing career. In the past, she worked for Sony Music Publishing as a songwriter. Gaga has released 5 albums (The Fame, Born This Way, ARTPOP, Cheek 2 Cheek (with Tony Bennett) and Joanne) and one EP (The Fame Monster.)

Gaga has done a lot in the past such as creating the Born This Way Foundation to help children, She's helped with rallies when it comes to LGBT+ values. She's talked about her bisexuality, her anxiety, her PTSD/ She generally has no bad bones in her body but she will shut you down if you try and come for her in any single way which can be proven by the tweets after the Superbowl performance.

When she does a performance, Gaga will do them to the best of her ability. If you won't take my word for it then watch her VMA performance of Paparazzi where fake blood is involved or any of the tributes she's done such as Bowie, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and many more. Look at the footage of her tours, she creates an image that will never be forgotten at them such as see through staging. She literally creates art out of pop music.

She has talked about her sexuality in many ways including creating songs about it that have been worldwide hits. She's done rallies and spoken for the LGBT+ community when we've needed it which I think is a great thing especially when you have such a big following as some celebs don't use their platform to do things like that. She's known for talking about politics in great detail and some were scared/annoyed that she would do the same at the Superbowl 51 performance but instead the Lady side of Gaga came out and she said what she needed to say in a subtle but meaningful way which I loved!

All in all, Gaga is a great person who has grown so much from before she came Gaga and will continue to grow in many different ways.

What did you think of the Superbowl Half Time performance from Lady Gaga? Let me know down below!

I hope that you've enjoyed and have been educated slightly within this Jamie Spills The Tea post. I hope that you've enjoyed it and will come back next time for another Jamie Spills The Tea.

Jamie Spills The Tea | Michelle Visage

Hey!

Welcome to the second post in the Jamie Spills The Tea series where I discuss and educate you on some of the best members of the LGBT+ community. Today's post is all about the Queen that is Michelle Visage!

Michelle Visage is an American singer, TV host, radio DJ, author and TV personality. Michelle started her career off by being in a band called Seduction who are most known for their single 'Two To Make It Right.' Once 'Seduction' had separated, Michelle became the lead single of The Soul System. Visage then later became the cohost of The RuPaul Show. She has also been a judge on Rupaul's Drag Race & its spinoff 'All Stars' since January 2011. Michelle also went into the UK Celebrity Big Brother house on January 7th 2015 and came out in fifth place.

Michelle might be a straight woman but she is definitely an ally and the whole LGBT+ community needs more allies within the world especially in todays day and age. Michelle is all about bringing love and honesty to the world and I think that it is the best thing in the world!

Although this goddess is all about love and positivity, she will definitely ensure you that she is doing her job correctly when it comes to judging on the show 'RuPaul's Drag Race'. Michelle will critique the contestants on what they need to do in order to better themselves and I think that it is the best thing to do as I think that the entertainment business is a tough one to go into and you need someone that will tell you exactly how to further yourself, You probably already have someone like that in your life and although you probably think that they are a bitch sometimes they are only doing it because they want you to be amazing. Michelle has been known to get insults and death threats via social media from doing it and I think that it is an awful thing to do. You might not like how a show goes but the show only goes on for so long and then once its ended everyone on it goes back to working hard in the real world. (This has happened several times so I am not referencing or shading a particular queen!)

Michelle won the hearts of the UK when entering the CBB house ensuring that she would stand up for everything that she believed in and she did (especially against animal looking Perez Hilton) .and I honestly think that we need more to be doing that sort of thing! She has helped so many drag queens and fans of Drag Race via her social media (like the teenage boy who was kicked out of his home whos tweet Michelle retweeted and checked up on after).

In the words of RuPaul and Michelle Visage, the best way to sum Michelle up is that you're born naked and everything else is drag.

This isn't sponsored but if you want to buy Michelle's book then click here. It's a great book and I urge to either find it in book stores to have a little look or to buy it and read it when you can!

Do you also love Michelle Visage? Let me know down below!
