Findiing The Scent Underneath The Clothes | Jimmy Choo Man Intense

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post. I thought that today, I would talk to you all about a fragrance that I've been loving at the moment, which is the Man Intense fragrance by Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo have done it again with their lovable fragrances. JC have released Jimmy Choo Man Intense, a bolder version of Jimmy Choo Man. Imagine this as the Dad of Jimmy Choo Man due to it being a bit bolder, and a bit more complex on the scent front. 


The Top Notes consist of Lavender, Honeydew Melon which means, when you first spray this onto your skin, you slightly delicate scent with a burst of fruitiness and coolness from the Honeydew Melon. 

The Mid Notes consist of Davana, Geranium, Pepper which adds onto the slightly floral scent from the Lavender, but also counterbalances it all, via the spiciness of the Pepper which gives the fragrance a warming element for those colder nights out.

The Base Notes consist of Patchouli, Cistus Labdanum, Tonka Bean, which again add to the spiciness of the fragrance which balances out the floral aspects of the scent. The Tonka Bean adds a sweet hint to the scent which ensures that the fragrance isn't full of spice, like Viktor & Rolf's Spicebomb, which I love for a good Winter fragrance. 

I've only tried this a few times via testing in stores due to not being fully able to afford it, due to being a student, and only spending money when I need to but I love the spiciness of the Pepper and Patchouli rounded out with the Tonka Bean and Melon. It gives it a Summer night/Autumn sort of vibe/that time of the year, when you're not ready for full on spice, but you're not completely ready to give up on the refreshing fragrances.

I think that this would be best suited for a drinks in the evening sort of date, or, for a day out when the weather is nice.

Deck The Malls With Boughs Of Holly | Boxing Day Sales

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today I would talk to you all about the things that I bought over the Holidays via sales and whatnot.

Vans: 

I have a slight obsession when it comes to Vans and I've figured this out via my collection of Vans growing and growing over the past couple of years. Schuh decided to put a sale on so I decided to buy a couple of pairs including the blue Snoopy Vans from the Peanut X Vans Collection and the Schuh Exclusive Peanuts Gang Vans from the same collection. I love them both as I can pair them with a basic outfit for a pop of colour and personality.

Lush

I ended up going to the Lush Boxing Day Sale at their Leeds Spa branch, and let's just put it this way.... I bought far too much. My excuse is that it was rammed to the point where you might as well as thought it was a battle to the death due to the customers and the loud rock music on in the background which I loved.

 The items that I bought include:

• Christmas Citrus Soap

• Santa's Christmas Shower Gel

The Body Shop

I popped into The Body Shop to have a nosy at their Christmas Sale. I didn't buy much due to the amount of products I bought at Lush. I bought a bottle of Frosted Berries Shower Gel and a tube of Frosted Plum Hand Cream. 

Thorntons: 

After shopping around Lush and The Body Shop, I popped into Thorntons like you normally do the day after Christmas/Valentines Day/Easter... I ended up buying a box of their Christmas Collection Chocolates which comtains 37 chocolates and a box of Fruit Jellies Collection which contains some amazing sweets within.

Primark

The last place I visited was Primark which I did on a different day to the above due to the fact that the queue was massive when I went in the first time. I bought a cute Batman top as Primark didn't have the Pokemon top that I wanted left and a pair of black Cuffed Joggers for lounging about in and for going to the gym in. I'll probably end up back in Primark soon looking for more items of clothing.

Wearing Fashion Differently | Ushiwear Clothing

Hey,

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to Ushiwear Clothing's pop up store launch within Trinity Leeds. Sadly, as I've been very busy, the Ushiwear pop up store has now closed but I will mention later on within the post where you can check out Ushiwear Clothing.

Ushiwear Clothing was born from the mind of Jilly Kapusi who with the help and support of her husband launched the British brand back in 2008. Inspired by her own and her families love of nature and the outdoors, Jilly went about creating a range of clothing that intertwined not just style but also comfort. All of Ushiwear's products are designed and handprinted within the UK. Things such as labels and packaging are manufactured within the Ushiwear Clothing store in Mirfield.

Once myself and Luke had entered the superb store, we met with the lovely team that had invited us to the event. We got handed a fresh orange juice (there was also Prosecco but I don't like to start off with a Prosecco. We had a wander around and I instantly ended up looking at the food that they had on offer which is typical of myself. There were some lovely nibbles on display including some cute cupcakes that had designs on the top of them in the form of icing.

We wandered around the store to see all of the amazing products that Ushiwear sell. There is some amazing designs on the t-shirts. There is also the softest feeling clothing within the store. Y'know that sort of soft where you instantly know that it would be good as an Autumn/Winter staple piece? So many colours!

We were then asked if we wanted to have a talk with Jilly herself who told us the story of Ushiwear which I have condensed down at the top of the post. She also told us that Ushiwear is committed to helping local charities which I think is amazing and that if you want something in a different colour or size then they'll make it and send it out to you.

We had another look around the store and then I chose my tshirt, said our goodbyes and left the store.
