Cutting The Denim,| Denham Jeansmaker Jason Denham Collection Event

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was invited to the Denham Jeansmaker Jason Denham Collection Launch at their Leeds store so I thought that I would tell you all about it!

Denhams Jeanswear is known for creating amazing clothing items with the greatest quality possible via sourcing out the best materials for their clothes such as Italian Leather or English Denim which goes into their products such as their jeans which they are famously known for. Jason Denham is the founder of this business. He was born and raised within Newcastle, England. They have a store within Leeds but they are soon branching out to other parts of the UK including Manhester and York.

‘The Jason Denham Collection is a celebration of iconic styles that can be mixed-and-matched for everyday versatility,’ said Jason Denham, Founder and Chief Creative Officer, DENHAM the Jeanmaker. I gladly got to meet Jason on the day of the event who talked to me about the amount of effort and thought that Denhams Jeanswear put into creating an item of clothing that makes it ways to the stores around the world and the website which you can have a look at via clicking here.

The main key piece from the collection that I absolutely adored and probably will spend the rest of my life lusting over was the Sky Aviator Jacket. If I could then I would wear it with every outfit as it just looks amazing from the wool based collar to the leather jacket itself

Another outerwear product that I absolutely adored from the Jason Denham Collection was the Norton Blazer. This Blazer is also a part of a suit but I think that this item of clothing would look fabulous in either dressed up with a buttoned up shirt, a pair of Denham Jeans and some brogues or dressed down with a t-shirt, a pair of Denham Jeans and a pair of Chelsea Boots.

The last clothing item that I loved from this collection was the Razor Slim Fit Jeans - JDCMIEV. I have never heard of Razor Slim Fit Jeans before so that instantly drew me towards these but also the fact that the denim that makes these jeans is from the UK which made them even more special. Again, I believe that they would look great either dressed up or down and would be a great piece for your wardrobe.

I had a look at the rest of the amazing clothes that Denham sell which include shirts, t-shirts and women's clothing so there is something for everyone. I also got to enjoy some amazing drink and food whilst chatting to some of the amazing staff that work at Denhams in Leeds.

If you're in Leeds then please do check out the Denhams Jeansmaker store, which gives great style advice whilst serving amazing coffee and hot drinks and selling fabulous clothing, at the bottom of Briggate next to House Of Fraser.

Thanks to the staff of Denham Jeansmaker for putting on and inviting me to this event and to Jason himself for taking time out of his hectic schedule to come to the event and talk to us.

I hope that you've enjoyed this blog post and that you come back for another blog post soon!

Thanks for reading!

Ripped To The Max | Boohoo Man Haul

Hey!

Welcome to a brand new blog post. Boohoo Man sent me a few items of clothing (that I chose) including a few things from their new Big and Tall range and I thought that I would talk to you guys about them today. I know that I'm not completely Big or Tall but I definitely end uo in the category of being too big sometimes for commercial items and too small for specialist clothing stores so I wanted to see what Boohoo Man's clothing was like.

The first item in this shopping haul comes outfit of the day post is the Boohoo Man Big and Tall Short Sleeve Checked Shirt in Charcoal. I love a good checked shirt as you've probably guessed in past fashion posts or on my social media. This checked shirt is a dark sort of charcoal and grey mix which is a bit different as you normally either get the sort of bright grey checked shirt or the typical red lumberjack shirt. The fabric is sort of a thick flannel which I think means that it would be a great shirt for layering at this time of year when its still a bit warm in the morning and cold in the afternoon. I also think that its a great piece of clothing to wear buttoned up for a more smart ook but also to pair with something else to give off a more casual vibe for the day.

I like the Big and Tall range from Boohoo Man as it ranges from an XL to a XXXXL which means that you should hopefully be able to find something that fits you no matter what shape or size!

The next item is Big and Tall 2 Pack Basic Crew Neck T-Shirt in Black and White. The fabric of this product is so soft and I believe that everyone no matter what shape, size, gender, etc should have a good staple tshirt that they can wear for well anything really. If you team it up say with something like a leather jacket or a bomber then it would make a great night out outfit or it can always be used with a pair of joggers for lounging around on those lazy weekends. You could always pair the shirt above and one of the tops to create a sort of smart casual look.

The next item that I got is the Black Ripped Knee Spray On Skinny Jeans. I got these a size up just because my legs are more towards the tree trunk side of things than anything else but I love these. I think that the knee rips give it a slight bit of edginess and add flare to any outfit that you wear and I think that black are the best colour when it comes to jeans as they will go with anything. I definitely think that they will be an Autumn staple for myself!

Shoes are from Vans a while ago as I love a bit of Disney and I think that again they add a bit of personalisation to the outfit as it shows that you like Disney and all things film.

Thanks to Edd who took these photos of me. If you want to see any of his work then please go and check out his Instagram.

Thanks to Boohoo Man for sending me these amazing products! Please do go and check out their new Big and Tall Range.

I hope that you have enjoyed this Fashion based blog post and I hope that you come back next time for another blog post!

Viewing The World In Three Different Colours | Specspost Home Trial

Hey!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! Specspost were kind enough to let me try their Home Service that is available on their website and I thought that today I would talk to you guys about it.

Since 2009, SpecsPost has brought the convenience, choice, and value of internet shopping to thousands of happy customers via eyeware that Joboth in the United Kingdom and worldwide.

You can either purchase a pair of glasses or sunglasses via the Specspost website or if you're like me who is a little bit indecisive then you can choose three completely different pairs to try out before you decide on one to choose to keep.

I decided that I would choose three designs that I liked as after all it would be me who would be choosing which ones to keep.

The first pair that I chose were The Clooney Retro Look Glasses which have a round frame to them which gives the glasses a sort of retro feel towards them. The frame is made out of a mixture of plastic and acetate. I didn't choose them just due to the name. I chose these glasses due to the fact that I already wear quite roundish glasses so I thought that I would want to try something that is similar to what I'm used to but with a different sort of feel to them. I loved the contrast of the front of the frame compared to the sides!

The second pair that I chose were The Talented Mr Ripley Glasses. Obviously, these glasses are a homage to the 1999 film that shares the same title. I love these glasses as again they have a retro feel to them but I also love these glasses due to the size of them. I have never really gone for a big frame so I thought that it would be good to try so via these amazing pair of glasses.Again, these are a mixture of acetate and plastic but I kind of love that on glasses as sometimes all metal can irritate the face sometimes.

The last pair that I chose were the Stevie Opaque Grey Geek Glasses. Sounds like a mouthful but they are amazing! I've never worn grey glasses before so I was slightly hesitant at first. I know that they are basically the grey version of the the ones that I've talked about above but I think that Grey is such a good colour for the Autumn/Winter time.

I'm in the midst of choosing the pair of glasses that I want but which pair do you think that I should choose? Let me know down below!

If you want to have a look on Specspost's website then click here.

Thank you to the guys over at Specspost for sending me the glasses to try as a part of their home trial service.

I hope that you've enjoyed this glasses based blog post. I hope that you come back next time for another blog post.
