Treating Myself | Mini Christmas Wishlist

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new post! I thought that today I would talk to you guys about a few little things that I've been lusting over this festive period!

The first thing that I've been wanting is a new pair of Avaj underwear. Now I know that this sound ridiculous, but AVAJ kindly sent me a pair of their underwear after featuring them and sadly I lost them somewhere during my move to Leeds for University so I've been lusting over some of their underwear which I will hopefully pick up after Christmas Day itself as their products are comfy and honestly help me to feel that little bit more confident on days that I feel a little bit down in the dumps. The fun thing is that they're based in Leeds. I love their jockstraps and briefs.
Go and check out AVAJ to look at their amazing clothing and skincare.

I know that the line is Diamonds are a girls best friend but I feel that my best friend is shoes. I know that sounds slightly weird but I love picking up cute and quirky shoes and at the minute I am loving the Vans X Peanut range. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some of the  shoes as I just love how cute they look.
Check out Schuh as they have a sale on at the moment.

Beauty is always on my mind and I love supporting local companies. I've been wanting to try out the Egg Nog range that is available at the minute so I'll hopefully get to check that out by Christmas or hopefully Boxing Day. I also love the Invigorate and Peppermint Cream range at Yorkshire Soap Company as the Invigorate helps me feel awake in the morning which is pretty difficult and the Peppermint Cream range makes me feel refreshed on those days that I feel a little bit meh.
Check out Yorkshire Soap Company to see if there's anything that you love the sound of .

What's on your wishlist for Christmas? Let me know down below!

I hope that you've enjoyed this short blog post. I hope that you come back next time for another blog post.

AVA-J Mens Underwear Gift Box Review

Hey!

Welcome to another blog post! If you can jog your memories back to Valentines Day, I wrote a post about how to treat yourself when it comes to the infamous day. I included AVA-J in the post (a brand that I adore due to many reasons including being based in Leeds) and after the post they kindly sent me a gift so I could celebrate Valentines Day in style!

Avaj (pronounced Ava Jay) is a brand that works for everyone, and that philosophy has gone into all aspects of the product line.AVAJ have four unique, quality ranges suited to a sophisticated modern men. Avaj was made into a business when the mother of the people behind the business wanted to buy them underwear for Christmas and only found underwear that was based on reinforcing sexual masculine ideology to influence other men to buy said products to get a girl so they created AVAJ.

I was sent a gift box that came in some lovely packaging. The gift box contained a box of little delicious looking chocolate hearts that were encased in shiny red wrapping, a bottle of their Peppermint Face Scrub and a pair of their Black Jock Briefs.

The Peppercorn Exfoliating Face Scrub gets rid of dirt, oil and dead skin which makes it an amazing scrub but Shea and Cocoa Butters to ensure that no moisture is lost when scrubbing away which is good for those months when you need as much moisture as possible. The Peppermint comes through but you can tell that it's not a fake a Peppercorn like you expect in food but its more of a musky deep Peppercorn that is similar to the scent ofn . I think that this is best when its first thing in the morning as it wake yourself and your skin up. I love this particular for the elegant silver bottle that it comes in. 9/8 but if you're not keen on the smell then have a look at the rest of their range.

The next item in the box was a pair of Jet Black Jock Briefs.

All of AVAJ's underwear is made with a 95% Cotton and 5% Elastane mix, topped with a thick plain black woven Elastane waistband wider than your average waistband for your comfort, finished with their woven label on the front and on the inside. All of AVAJ's garments are machine washable which always great as it saves time and energy for everyone.

I love the colour of these due to being a lover of anything black plus it keeps the silhouette looking slim for those that are a bit conscious of around there  This pair of underwear felt amazing which is probably due to the mix mentioned above. I know that Jock Briefs aren't for everyone but I felt amazing, comfy and sexy wearing them. I think that they are amazing for sports or for when you need a boost of confidence which sometimes everyone needs. I think that every guy owns at least one pair of these to experience the feeling! I also loved the enhancing cup as it just made everything fit in the right places which I think would make these pair amazing for a night out. 9.8/10. If you're not sold on the Jock Briefs then have a look at the other Mens Underwear that they sell!

I'm not sure who the chocolates are by but they were amazing. Lovely and creamy chocolate in a cute heart shape. I think that these alone would be great for a little present.

Sadly I don't think that this gift set is available now but do have a look on their site as it was their 2 year birthday on Saturday. They also do some amazing nightwear as well as beautiful grooming products, accessories and underwear. Click here to check out their website or have a closer look at the products mentioned.

Have you been loving any underwear brands lately? Let me know down below!

Thanks to AVAJ for sending me this gift box. I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post! Happy Belated Birthday to AVAJ!

Shopping Has Come In Peace | Christmas Gift Guide For Men 2016

Hey! It's time for my last gift guide of the year. I know that I left these until the last minute this year but I hope that you have enjoyed reading them. This last gift guide is all about what to buy the men within your life for Christmas. I am going to start off with a couple of pairs of shoes from Schuh, Guys including myself always need more shoes. I always think no matter male, female or anything inbetween, you can always do with more shoes! The first pair are from the Vans x Toy Story range so these trainers instantly make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves Disney or Toy Story. These trainers have pictures of the aliens on which I find so cute. Ooooooooooh click here to find out more about the trainers.
The second pair from Schuh are Dr Martens 14 Tie Z Boot Boots. I love them due to tallness of the boot. They're definitely a great gift for anyone who loves Dr Martens or for anyone who loves a good boot. They're quite expensive but worth it. Click here to find out more about them.
This one is from Debenhams. It's slightly boozy but I think that it is a great gift. It is a Jim Beam gift set which contains a 5cl bottle of Jim Beam Bourbon and a petrol bottle shaped hip flask which I think is an amazing gift for anyone who loves their Bourbon or are an avid petrol head. Come and find out more about this gift set here.
The next couple of items that I am going to talk about are from the brand Vercity who have a store within Queens Arcade in Leeds. The first item from them that I am going to suggest is the blue canvas backpack. I love anything that is blue. It's sturdy and can hold a lot of items within it so its a great bag for things such as work, events, travelling to various places or anything of that sort. Click here to find out more about it.
I am also going to feature the Charcoal Grey Vintage Weekend Bag as I love the colour of it, I love how big it looks and honestly I would buy it as I know whoever got this would use it as much as they can. Click here to find out more about it.
Second to last brand! Avaj who specialise in underwear, beauty and much more. They also have a store in Headingley! I had a good gander on the website and loved the colour Wicked Green so both of the products in this gift guide are in Wicked Green but do have a look on their website for everything that they sell. Product number one is a Jockstrap in Wicked Green for anyone who loves them. I just think that they give great support and make anyone feel confident. Click here to find out more.

There is also the green beauties that are the boxer briefs which might suit the men who don't want to show their butt off. I still think that they support quite well and make a difference from the general black/white ones that they have. (There is only the small left of these sadly.) Time for the last brand! Lord Byron Shoes are a brand that are based within Manchester who create bespoke shoes. I've featured this and Schuh as I think that they are both on the opposite sides of the shoe spectrum. The first pair are a pair of tan brogue boots. I love brogue boots as they are a slightly more sartorial version of the normal boot and I think that they are best for this time of year really. Click here to find out more.
On Wednesdays, we only wear Pink! Pink is for everyone and looks amazing via these wholecut oxford brogues which will add a bright splash to any outfit. Click here to find out more.
Final item in the gift guide! These tan and blue brogues add a slight splash without being as bright as the shoes above therefore these are perfect for someone who's a bit hesitant on being bright. These will go well with whatever you pair them with. Click here to find out more.

Have you or are you interested in purchasing any of the above as gifts for others or for yourself? Let me know down below!

That's the last of my gift guides for 2016. I hope that you don't leave any of your present purchasing until the 24th. I hope that you come back for another blog post.
