AD | Discovering Some Iconic Fragrances That Will Brighten Your Day Up! | Lush Lush Days : Fragrance Discovery Set

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! The wonderful team at Lush kindly sent me the Lush Days : Fragrance Discovery Set and I thought that today I would talk to you all about it!

I was kindly sent this Fragrance Discovery Set from the wonderful Friends Of Lush Team alongside participating in a scent workshop with some of the lovely and fabulous fragrance team from Lush. Not only did it allow me to interact with some of the team and some of the wonderful Lushies that make up the Lush Community but it also allowed me to find out new ways to use Perfume to experiment more with layering fragrances and to find out what these fragrances mean to some of the Lush Community members and how fragrance can instantly evoke memories of experiences and events when you've used said fragrance such as spending the day with someone who becomes your life long best friend, a date night or a birthday for example.

A zoomed in photo of a rectangular black box filled with three cykdiencual small glass bottles of perfume all with three rectangular labels. One says grass perfume lush one says dear John perfume and one says breath of god perfume lush in white font with a light brown box lid below it with lush days gift set in black font on a bright background

Grass

Ingredients:

Alcohol Denat. (Organic), Aqua (Water), Parfum, Glycerin, *Linalool, Sandalwood Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil (Bergamot Oil), Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Oil (Neroli Oil), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, *Benzyl Alcohol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Salicylate, *Citral, *Citronellol, *Coumarin, *Eugenol, *Farnesol, *Geraniol, *Isoeugenol, *Limonene.

Grass has been a staple when it comes to Lush Fragrances for many years now. I first had an experience with the Grass scent family from Lush in my first couple of visits of a Lush Store many years ago in the form of the retro Grass Bubbleroon so when I smell or use Grass from Lush it instantly takes me back to when I was first exploring the products of Lush and the company itself.

Grass contains Bergamot, Sandalwood and Neroli which blend to create a really fresh green fragrance with a slightly citrus undertone that reminds me personally of the smell of freshly mowed Grass on a Summers Day. I don't know if it's a British thing only but you know that smell when you get woken up really early on a Sunday to warm weather but also to someone cutting the grass in their garden far too early? That but in fragrance format! When it comes to longevity Grass knocks it out of the ball park! Since receiving this discovery set I've worn it out to Leeds for the day and honestly even with the warm weather basking on my skin and running around Leeds City Centre checking new ranges out, snapping products and running  errands I could still smell it when I was getting the train back to Bradford!

Grass has been out at Lush in many formats. As I mentioned there has been the Bubbleroon, we have the Shower Gel that's at stores right now, we have the perfume and last year, Lush released the fragrance in a Body Spray format in the form of Mossy Bottom! I always love to layer the Gel and Fragrance together but I'd definitely love to hear what you pair Grass with in regards to a self care routine!

Whilst participating in the workshop we talked about how Grass comes across slightly more green and slightly more citrus on some of us. We also talked about how to wear Grass in new ways and the team at Lush suggested wearing Grass towards the colder months of the year. I thought that this was very interesting to do so I'll definitely be doing this when the weather gets colder in the Autumn. The team also talked about how wearing Grass towards the Winter can help those who suffer with SAD such as myself as Neroli is known to help the mind. As someone with SAD I am forever looking for ways to boost my mood and not feel so bleh when the nights getting darker earlier and the weather drops dramatically.

Have you tried out Grass in the Winter? If so I'd love to hear your thoughts! After the discussion at the workshop I'm definitely thinking of weird and wonderful ways to wear Grass such as pairing it with a Gourmand!

Dear John

Ingredients:

Organic DRF Alcohol, Parfum, *Limonene, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Cedarwood Oil, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil (Vetivert Oil), Coriandrum Sativum Seed Oil (Coriander Seed Oil), Eugenia Caryophyllus Oil (Clove Bud Oil), *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Salicylate, *Citral, *Coumarin, *Eugenol, *Farnesol, *Geraniol, *Linalool

Dear John means a lot to me personally so I was ecstatic to see that it was included in the Lush Days Fragrance Discovery Set. Dear John as a scent family has honestly been in the room whilst I've experienced many things and participated in several events  and events for me so Dear John means a lot to me as a product and a scent family. Just to show how much Dear John has been in my life, I used to own the Glass Body Spray of Dear John and honestly Lush if you're reading this, please rerelease a Body Spray version of Dear John! I was first introduced to Dear John at the beginning of my friendship with my best friend Michelle who adored the fragrance and still does to this day! At the time, we were both going through it as people who have just started college in the UK usually do and bonded over all things Lush so if you ever want someone to blame for me never shutting up about Lush and all of their wonderful products since meeting her then you know who to blame... Whenever I spray this perfume I always think of her! Alongside this, the Dear John Shower Gel was released for a limited time during the beginning of my relationship with my partner who gifted me a big bottle of the Shower Gel which I still have to this day so this Fragrance also reminds me of them and all the wonderful dates and memories we've created whilst Dear John has scented me beautifully.

Dear John contains Cedarwood, Vetivert, Coriander Seed and Clove Bud which blends to create a deep woody yet spicy and smoky fragrance that has a blast of a light green herbal note that comes from the Coriander.

I normally stick to using this on special occasions due to the memories I have associated with Dear John but as the workshop delves into when to use fragrances I think that I will start to use Dear John more on a day to day situation especially when I'm feeling a bit lethargic or under the weather. I also think that it would be great to wear it when I'm treating myself to a day out and want something that makes me feel special. We always talk about self care but I think we sometimes ignore fragrances when it comes to a self care routine or ritual.

If you've not smelt Dear Johm then I urge you to go to a Lush store and check it out and whilst you're there, give the brand new book a read! If you love all things Lush then I think you will find the book very interesting!

Breath Of God

Ingredients

Alcohol Denat. (Organic), Parfum, Citrus Limon Peel Oil (Lemon Oil), *Limonene, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Cedarwood Oil, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil (Vetivert Oil), Rosa Damascena Flower Oil (Rose Oil), Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang Oil), Citrus Paradisi Peel Oil (Grapefruit Oil), Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Oil (Neroli Oil), Piper Nigrum Fruit Oil (Black Pepper Oil), Sandalwood Oil, Juniperus Oxycedrus Wood Oil (Cade Oil), *Benzyl Alcohol, *Benzyl Cinnamate, *Benzyl Salicylate, *Cinnamal, *Citral, *Geraniol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Citronellol, *Farnesol, *Isoeugenol, *Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Eugenol

Did you know that Breath Of God is two different iconic fragrances from Lush fused into one enigmatic scent? During the fragrance workshop the wonderful team at Lush explained that Breath Of God is the fusion of the Inhale and Exhale Fragrances at Lush that are retro fan favourite scents. Inhale contains ingredients such as Rose, Black Pepper and Ylang Ylang whilst Exhale contains ingredients such as Cade, Vetivert and Grapefruit. Inhale is meant to represent the lighter side of life whilst Exhale represents the darker side of life so when they combine together in breath of god they create one harmonious fragrance.

Before the team at Lush describes the concept and scent notes of Breath Of God including what I have stated above, they got us to spray a spray onto paper or skin and asked us what the first note that we got was. Some of the Lush Community said aquatic notes, some said watermelon and some said smoky incense including myself. The workshop discussed that our noses pick different notes and everyone's skin picks up different notes which makes perfume even more personal than some realise. For example, my partner has a very warm temperature to their skin so some fragrances are intensified on their skin and some flash off very quickly whilst for myself I've recently been noticing that light citrus fragrances don't last well on me even Super Milk Body Spray sadly flashes off my skin quickly which is disappointing!

When I sprayed BOG on to my skin the Cade, Vetivert and Black Pepper were the main notes that were at the forefront on my skin and to me they smelt wonderful. Smoky, rich and spicy whilst the rest of the notes were in the background which gave the fragrance a light background for the spices to be as loud as they are on me. On first sniff I thought that it reminded me of a more aquatic version of All Or going out to Leeds mainly as the spices in it have been helping to ground me slightly and Leeds at the moment has been making me a bit more jumpy and shaky due to busy footfall that's going on in the city centre at the moment.

I have loved enjoying the Lush Days Fragrance Discovery Set and I can't thank Lush enough for kindly sending me it and inviting me to the workshop. It was such a blast. I learn so much and I hope to be invited to more of them in the future! I have loved using these fragrances on the go, whacking them in my bag and taking them on adventures with me. I am a massive Lushie and I have tried a lot of products in my time but it's great to rediscover some of the classics that Lush are known for! Once I've used these I'll definitely be looking into grabbing the other discovery sets from Lush!

Have you tried any of the fragrances mentioned in this post? Have you tried the Lush Days Discovery Set? Let me know!

AD | Being A Cheeky Monkey & Messing About With Your Self Care Routine | Lush Kitchen XL April Box 2026

  Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was kindly sent the April Kitchen XL Box from the wonderful team at Lush so I thought that today I would talk to you all about my thoughts on the box.

I like to wait until the month after the Box has arrived to truly talk about it as it means that I've had time to try everything which includes trying out the posted products several times so I can truly talk about them.

And why angles photo of a light brown peg shaped coffee table with a light brown rectangular box filled with white Eco pops with a rectangular wide dark blue sleep behind it with the word babe on the wild side Lush kitchen excel box in dark black font with two cylindrical plastic tubs at the back of the box one is filled with a light white commingle from Lush with a circular Black lid with a circular blue and purple label with Rainforest coat mingle Lush in white and the other filled with it dark blue shower jelly with it clear circular lead with a dark blue and cyclo purple circular label with Amazonian shower gel Lush in white font next to a cylindrical plastic tall bottle filled with dark brown shape shifting to cycling gold shower gel with a black cylindrical small lid and a dark blue and purple rectangular label that says Fantabulosa shower gel Lush kitchen exclusive Lush in white font with a white circular pork shaped solid body butter filled with magnesium in front of it with an indicate engraved circular line based design on it next to a light yellow and golden monkey shaped bath bomb next to a dark blue and purple snack shaped bubble bar and a dark blue slightly rectangular slab absorb with a yellow moon design in the middle of it all on a bright background

Fantabulosa Shower Gel

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerin, Lauryl Betaine, Parfum, Matricaria Recutita Flower Oil (Chamomile Blue Oil), Cistus Ladaniferus Resin (Labdanum Resinoid), Evernia Prunastri Extract (Oakmoss Extract), Viola Odorata Leaf Extract (Violet Leaf Extract), Fucus Vesiculosus Extract (Seaweed Extract), Lactic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, CI 45410:1

It's time to have a self care routine with this retro fragrance scented Shower Gel and truly feel fantabulous!

This Shower Gel looks stunning as soon as it came out of the box as it's two toned. On the outside Fantabulosa looks dark and moody on the outside but as soon as you apply a little from the bottle it comes to life and changes colour! I love when Lush do this! I loved how Cherry Pop Shower Gel did this! I gifted a bottle to a friend and as soon as I got home from seeing them I got a message about them being mesmerised that it somehow changed colour and that it was pure magic!

Fantabulosa contains Glycerine which not only makes for a thick Shower Gel which I know a lot of you including myself adore but also ensures that after you use this beautiful shower gel that your skin feels nourished, soft and smooth!

Fantabulosa contains a retro fragrance that was first released before Lush was known as Lush and I believe it was first released as a part of the Perfume collection at B Never Too Busy To B Beautiful which is what Lush was before it became Lush!

Fantabulosa contains Chamomile Blue Oil, Labdanum Resinoid, Oakmoss, Violet Leaf  and Seaweed. I know that sounds like such an unusual and bizarre mix of ingredients on the outside but when you smell it you'll grasp what the concept and the vision was when the founders of Lush were coming up with this fragrance. To me, this blend of oils creates a fragrance that feels like it has been created with Alice In Wonderland in mind. In my opinion, this fragrance to me smells like a mixture of Big Blue and Sex Bomb from Lush with a massive blast of slightly synthetic foam banana sweets coming from the Labdanum. I know that this may sound weird but I used this Gel before going out on a date day and honestly I felt confident and intriguing! It truly made me feel like I could battle the day no matter what which I know sounds weird from a shower gel but I always believe that Shower products and Fragrance can truly change the way you feel and how your day goes.

I absolutely loved using this Shower Gel with the other Banana products and I would love a solid of this or a small 15ml or a 30ml spray to be released of this fragrance.

If you're a fan of niche fragrances that make you take another sniff and wonder what you can smell then I think this fragrance and Shower Gel would definitely be for you!

Amazonian Shower Jelly

Ingredients:

Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Citrus Reticulata Fruit Juice (Fresh Tangerine Juice), Chondrus Crispus Extract (Carrageenan Extract), Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Citrus Reticulata Peel Oil (Tangerine Oil), *Limonene, Pogostemon Cablin Oil (Patchouli Oil), Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang Oil), Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Extract (Orange Flower Extract), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Flower Extract (Orange Blossom Extract), Gardenia Jasminoides Fruit Extract (Gardenia Extract), Titanium Dioxide, *Linalool, Parfum, CI 15985:1, CI 19140:1, CI 19140, CI 14700

Even in the forest we have to smell good...

Amazonian Shower Jelly contains Patchouli, Orange Flower and Tangerine Oils which blend to create a truly citrus fragrance that has a big hit of brightness to it provided by the Tangerine alongside a contrasting hit of smokiness and spiciness that is provided by the Patchouli. I absolutely love this fragrance as it showcases how citrus and spice can truly harmonise together. In my opinion, Amazonian reminds me of a slightly summery version of Karma. Whilst Karma does have Patchouli and Orange just like Amazonian Shower Jelly does, I find that Karma slightly  leans more towards the herbal smoky side of Patchouli forward fragrances due to the addition of Lavender and Lemongrass which brings out the herbal notes more and if anyone knows me well then you will know that I absolutely  adore Karma and that it is one of my signature fragrances!

If you managed to grab this Jelly then let me know what you've paired it with, I've suggested Karma on this blog post but I also think that it would go gorgeously with Milky Bath or the Hello Kitty and Friends Perfume!

King Coconut Magnesium Body Butter

Ingredients:

Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter), Musa Paradisiaca Fruit (Fresh Banana), Aqua (Water), Persea Gratissima Fruit (Fresh Avocado), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil), Magnesium Chloride, Parfum, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Almond Oil), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Organic Jojoba Oil), Liquidambar Styraciflua Balsam Extract (Styrax Resinoid), Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil (Vetivert Oil), Styrax Tonkinensis Resin Extract (Benzoin Resinoid Extract), Cocos Nucifera Fruit Extract (Coconut Extract), Avena Sativa Kernel Extract (Oatmeal Extract), Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Cinnamate, *Cinnamal, *Cinnamyl Alcohol, *Isoeugenol, CI 77491

Even the King of the Forest needs to feel fabulous!

Don't hate me but when I smelt this straight out of the box my mind instantly started to play 'I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts' from Lion King... Says more about me and my brain more than anything else.

If you're unsure on how to use  King Coconut then imagine it as the last step before you get out of the bath or shower. Grab the product, swipe it all over your body, massage it in deeply, take a minute for yourself (this could be meditation, singing a song or anything that makes you happy.  the latter two is what I like to do) and then rinse off to reveal deeply hydrated skin that smells creamy and coconutty.

King Coconut contains Magnesium which helps to relax muscles. If you're an avid reader then you will know that as someone with muscle pain quite often I love when Lush include Magnesium in their products. I have to admit that I loved the addition of it in King Coconut too! It really helped me to relax and unwind whether it was at the end of a busy day or first thing in the morning when my body felt a bit bleh and my mind wasn't ready to crack on with the day.

King Coconut contains Fresh Avocado, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Almond Oil and Organic Jojoba Oil which all blend together to create a nourishing base alongside Coconut that helps to truly help you feel refreshed and nourished. I've been using this all over my body recently but especially on my elbows and other places that are dry and end up being bashed into often as I'm quite clumsy in life and I have to admit that these areas have never felt more hydrated and nourished. It's honestly made me rethink some parts of my self care routine and whether I should explore the all year round Body Butters and Body Conditioners such as Ro's Argan and King Of Skin a little bit more.

King Coconut contains Styrax, Benzoin Resinoid and Vetivert which combine to create a comforting cosy Coconut fragrance that still has a bite of not only fresh green grassiness but also a touch of smokiness in the background which helps to create a three dimensional fragrance. This fragrance really makes you feel like you're on an island or forest foraging and finding fresh coconuts. Fun fact: King Coconut and its regal fragrance were once a part of Cosmetics to Go. This was one of the brands that were Lush before  Lush was a business concept or a brick and mortar store on the British High Street. I absolutely love this fragrance. As I say it's rich, creamy and comforting but it still has a smoky edge to it. I am a sucker for anything that contains  Vetivert (see my monologue about loving Dear John in a plethora of posts which contains a heavy hit of Vetivert) and this fragrance is no different. If you're a fan of Coconut fragrances but you enjoy one that is more true to natural Coconut rather than the sickly sweet synthetic versions of a coconut fragrance that you can find quite often then I think that you would love King Coconut. If you also own Furze from Lush then I think that these two could be paired beautifully together in a self care routine!

Banana Moon Soap

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Brassica Napus Seed Oil (Rapeseed Oil), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Soymilk Ferment Curd (Soya Yogurt), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil/Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil), Musa Paradisiaca Fruit (Fresh Banana), Parfum, Hexyl Cinnamal, Cistus Ladaniferus Resin (Labdanum Resinoid), Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Gardenia Jasminoides Fruit Extract (Gardenia Extract), Titanium Dioxide, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Bicarbonat

To the moon and back baby!

Banana Moon Soap contains a plethora of hydrating goodies such as Fresh Banana, Glycerine, Soy Milk, Soya Yoghurt, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and much more. This may come as a little bit TMI but as someone who is neurodivergent, I have a really bad habit of biting and picking the skin on my hands. If you've ever seen a photo of anything that I'm holding on my socials then you'll know what I'm getting at so alongside dry skin when it comes to soaps I want something very hydrating that will hopefully help with the skin on my hands and oh boy do I have to say Banana Moon Soap definitely helps with that. The absolute complex of gorgeous moisturising goodies that make up the base of this Soap definitely have been helping to hydrate and recover my hands. Sometimes with other soaps I don't really enjoy using them as they can irritate me quite easily  whereas Banana Moon is the complete opposite!

Banana Moon contains Labdanum and Gardenia. I know that this delightful duo sounds a bit simple and lacklustre for a fragrance that boasts all things Banana but trust me when I say that this duo definitely packs a punch when it comes to performanc! The Labdanum creates a beautiful Banana fragrance that pairs amazingly with the Fresh Banana that is included in this soap to create a truly rich and intense Banana. As this soap contains double Banana you get a fragrance that smells of both fresh green bananas and rich and creamy sweet foam banana sweets/banana milkshakes.   The Gardenia creates a fresh floral base that makes it feel like you're on a grand adventure and you've just found some fresh Bananas on the floor surrounding some blooming flowers.

I've been using this soap recently and not only do my hands feel gorgeous due to the blend of beautiful butters but also smells amazing. I've been using it mainly during the warm weather we've been having  in the UK and it truly has been getting me intothe Summer spirit!

Chameleon Bubble Bar

Ingredients:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Potassium Bitartrate (Cream of Tartar), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower Extract (Orange Flower Extract), Jasminum Grandiflorum Flower Extract (Jasmine Extract), Zea Mays Starch (Cornstarch), Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, *Eugenol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Parfum, CI 42090:2, CI 19140:1, CI 42090

Who doesn't love a product that is truly a Chameleon?

We all need a bubble bar for those days where we need a little pamper and trust me this Chameleon Bubble Bar definitely helps with that.

Chameleon Bubble Bar contains Jasmine and Orange Flower which blends to create a very floral yet slightly summery fragrance that reminds me of when you walk into a field and you can smell all the flowers blooming in one go. I've slowly been getting more into Jasmine including Jasmine Tea and I have to say that the Iasmine helps to create a floral base that has a rich deepness to it whilst a Orange Flower helps to create a light citrus fragrance so when they combine together you get the best of both worlds!

I think that if you love florals and want something that still packs a punch but doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a bath bomb then a chameleon is definitely for you! I think that this would go perfectly with products such as  Symbol Of Love or Happy Happy Joy Joy!

Cheeky Monkey Bath Bomb

Ingredients:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter), Parfum, Potassium Bitartrate (Cream of Tartar), Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract (Vanilla Extract), Dipteryx Odorata Seed Extract (Tonka Seed Extract), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Almond Oil), Aqua (Water), Titanium Dioxide, Zea Mays Starch (Cornstarch), Theobroma Cacao Seed Powder (Cocoa Powder), Laureth-4, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Dipropylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat., Tin Oxide, Coumarin, CI 77491, CI 77499

Even Cheeky Monkeys need a bath now and again!

Cheeky Monkey contains  Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter which helps to deeply nourish the skin. I love the inclusion of Cocoa Butter in Bath Bombs as it means that I can step out feeling luxurious and nourished. Honestly when I use a bath bomb from Lush that contains Cocoa Butter I step out feeling like I've been bathing like Cleopatra would. The Cocoa Butter creates a bathing experience like Butterball does where it creates a gorgeous nourishing layer to your bath in the tub but also makes you just feel really pampered. I love using bath bombs containing Cocoa Butter after a long day.

Cheeky Monkey also contains Cocoa Powder. I know that this may sound weird and you may think that this addition will instantly turn your bath brown but it really doesn't. In my opinion, the Cocoa Powder just gave the fragrance of this Bath Bomb a slightly rich Chocolate undertone.

Talking of fragrance, Cheeky Monkey Bath Bomb contains Vanilla, Tonka and Almond which blend together to create a really creamy gourmand comforting fragrance that reminds me slightly of a creamy Banana Pudding. This bath bomb also shares the same fragrance as the Minions X Lush Bath Bomb and shower Gel.

I used Cheeky Monkey first thing in the morning before a day of meetings, video calls and emails and not only did I smell gorgeous but it set me up to not feel anxious for the day which trust me I am always in the need of! If you have the Banoffee Pie Products from Lush then you could pair them with this to create a beautiful Banana self care routine!

Rainforest Co-Mingle

Ingredients:

Glycerin, Aqua (Water/Spring Water), Propylene Glycol, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract (Bamboo Stem Extract), Phytelephas Aequatorialis Seed Powder (Tagua Nut Powder), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Almond Oil), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil (Brazil Nut Oil), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter), Stearic Acid, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil (Organic Argan Oil), Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter (CupuaƧu Butter), Cupressus Funebris Wood Oil (Cedarwood Oil), Cupressus Sempervirens Oil (Cypress Oil), Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil (Vetivert Oil), Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang Oil), Chondrus Crispus Extract (Carrageenan Extract), Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter), Passiflora Edulis Fruit Juice (Passion Fruit Juice), Gardenia Jasminoides Fruit Extract (Gardenia Extract), Fortunella Japonica (Fresh Kumquat Extract), Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract (Vanilla Pod Extract), Triethanolamine, Cetearyl Alcohol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Parfum, CI 42090

Even those exploring rainforests need a good cleanse!

If you're unsure on what a Co-Mingle is then let me tell you all about them! Co-Mingle are a three in one product from lush which consist of a gorgeous scrub which helps to get rid of dead skin and helps to reveal glowing new skin, a shower jelly to cleanse skin so you feel super clean even when in a rainforest and a body conditioner which helps to nourish the skin and ensure that it feels soft and hydrated which I feel sometimes we forget to ensure.

Rainforest Co-Mingle contains Bamboo Stem and Tagua Nut Powder which creates a truly exfoliating yet light scrub which helps to exfoliate the skin, get rid of dead skin and reveal gorgeous glowing skin. I love this combination of scrub from Lush. I've used it in other Co-Mingles and in other products such as Happy Skin and trust me when I say that it truly ensures that your skin feels scrubbed and clean without damaging it or making it feel red raw which in my opinion is what I'm always wanting. A deep scrub without my skin feeling irritated to hell for days.

This Co-Mingle contains Argan Oil, Almond Oil, Brazil Nut Oil, Shea Butter and some other gorgeous ingredients to truly condition your skin. All of the butters and oils in this product combine to ensure that once you've massaged this Co-Mingle into the skin and rinsed it off you will be feeling moisturised, soft and like your skin has been rejuvenated. As a dry skin person who is forever on the go I am a massive fan of Co-Mingles as not only do they combine three products into one I know that my skin will look and feel gorgeous every time that I use one and it only takes a few minutes in the shower to apply and achieve. I end up spending this time enjoying a song on a playlist or the last minute or two of a podcast before I have to get out.

This Co-Mingle contains Ho Wood, Cypress, Vetivert and Ylang Ylang. These oils blend together to create a really smoky woody fragrance that has a blast of green freshness with a floral undertone to it which I absolutely adore. I know that this may be cliche to say but this really does smell like nothing I've smelt before and I've smelt a lot in my lifetime!

I think that Rainforest Co-Mingle would be a perfect product to take on holiday with as not only does it free up space by bringing one product that does three jobs rather than three individual products but also this product has a fragrance that is made for Summer Holidays and beaches in my opinion.

Thank you again to the wonderful team at Lush for kindly sending me this Lush Kitchen Box! Did you manage to grab this box and if so what did you think of the goodies? Let me know!

AD| It's Time To Go Bath Bomb Hunting, Scoob! | Scooby-Doo X Lush Collaboration Range

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! The wonderful team at Lush kindly sent me some of the brand new Scooby-Doo X Lush Collaboration Range and I thought that today I would talk to you all about this amazing range!

A wide angled photo with a green rectangular van shaped product holder with mystery machine in orange font with a light brown sparkly Scooby Doo Bath bomb next to a clear cylindrical tub filled with a blue shower jelly with a light blue label with clinks shower jelly in light green font next to a a green and purple van shaped bath bomb with orange flowers on the wheels next to a pair of black glasses shaped eye mask with my glasses in orange font next to a small cykdiencual bottle filled with dark purple glittery shower gel with a light purple rectangular label with mystery inc shower gel in green font all in a light brown square box on a bright background

Scooby-Doo Bath Bomb

Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? Oh you're in the tub!

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Perfume, Lime Oil, Olibanum Resinoid,  Neroli Oil, Water (Aqua), Gardenia Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Salicylate, Citral, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 77491, Colour 47005, Colour 42090, Colour 42053, Colour 47005:1.

You can't produce a Scooby-Doo X Lush Collaboration Range without including the Great Dane himself!

The Scooby-Doo Bath Bomb contains Lime Oil, Neroli Oil and Olibanum Oils which blends together to create a punchy zesty Lime fragrance with a slightly deep creamy base that is provided from the Neeoli and Olibanum Oils. If you remember the scent family from Lush formerly known as Calacas (now known as Zesty) and have been craving a Bath Bomb in that fragrance then Scooby-Doo is definitely for you as this shares the same fragrance! I mainly remember Calacas/Zesty through Halloween favourites such as Monsters šŸ‘æBall Bath Bomb and Big Foot Bath Bomb so I think that having Scooby scented in this fragrance as both Halloween and Scooby-Doo is all about monsters and solving mysteries makes total sense!

Not only does this bath bomb smell totally amazing but also looks it too due to slightly trippy tie dye bath art that it creates in the tub which in my opinion adds more to the Scooby-Doo experience!

A photo of a light brown square box full of some light brown and purple and green dog shit bath bombs with Grad on them next to it all light purple and green with hanging card that says Scooby Doo bath bomb in light white font on a bright background

Mystery Machine Bath Bomb

Come on gang! It's time to solve some mysteries and then have a some groovy self care time!

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Perfume, Bergamot Oil, Neroli Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Water (Aqua), Corn Protein, Gardenia Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Alcohol Denat., Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 47005:1, Colour 19140:1, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42053, Colour 15985:1, Colour 42090.

I grew up on Scooby-Doo weekend cartoons and in my opinion the Mystery Machine is the one of the major iconographies of Scooby-Doo. It represents the gang, the theme of friendship, chosen families, solving mysteries and chaos alongside the groovy vibes of the gang themselves.

Mystery Machine Bath Bomb contains Bergamot, Neroli, Ylang Ylang and Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil which merge together to create a truly mysterious yet kind of groovy scent.

The Bergamot creates a fruity element to the scent that makes the bath bomb smell to die for whilst the Neroli and Ylang Ylang create a soft and slightly creamy base for the fruitiness to jump off whilst the Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil brings a bit of mystery and depth to the scent. Mystery Machine Bath Bomb shares the same fragrance as the Groovy Kind Of Love fragrance range from Lush which has always reminded me of a retro sweet shop and so does this Bath Bomb. I know that sounds really weird but more the scent when you walk into a sweet shop and you can smell all of the sweets in one fragrance. I guess a bit like 29 High Srreet Perfume when you walk into a Lush store.

I love the concept and the design of this bath bomb as I love all things to do with the Mystery Machine. I am kind of surprised at how accurate Lush have gotten the bath bomb to the original design of the Mystery Machine itself.

I think that this would be an amazing bath bomb to use before going out with loved ones to go trick or treating on the evening of Halloween itself as the sweet shop like scent of Mystery Machine Bath Bomb reminds me of when you go out trick or treating on that cold Autumn evening. I know a fair few people that adore the Groovy Kind Of Love scent so I'll definitely be grabbing some more of this bath bomb to gift to friends!

My Glasses! Eye Mask

My Glasses! I can't see without my Glasses!

Chamomile Water, Glycerine, Fresh Aloe Gel, Carrageenan Extract, Fresh Cucumber, Witch Hazel Extract, Activated Charcoal, Water, Colour 42090.

As someone who also can't see without their glasses, when I saw that this particular product would be a part of the Scooby-Doo X Lush range, I was super excited so when Lush sent me these kindly in this amazing parcel my instant response was jinkies but in an absolutely great way!

The Fresh Cucumber and Chamomile blend together to create a truly grounding herbal yet refreshing scent. The chamomile gives off its grounding softness whilst the Cucumber adds a touch of aquatic freshness. Not only do these ingredients help to create a beautiful scented product but also help to soothe and refresh the eyes after a long hard day of work or mystery solving which honestly at the moment I am in dire need of.

I have adored Lush's Eye Masks and Pads since they first released and make for a great way to end a evening after a long day or to use before or after a night out which I'll be using these for as my friends 30th is right around the corner and me taking these to use the morning after at their house will definitely make for a great conversation starter and a great way to blast the Simple Plan's Scooby-Doo theme track! I'd definitely recommend adding these to any boo baskets that you are creating at the moment!

Mystery Inc Shower Gel

You can't have Scooby Doo without the Mystery Inc!

Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Water,  Fresh Carnation Pwtal Infusion, Calcium Lactate, Fine Sea Salt, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Lactic Acid, Vanilla Absolute, Cinnamon Bark Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Bergamot Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Cinnamal, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45410, Colour 42090, Colour 77491.

For this collaboration range, Lush have decided to immortalise the Mystery Inc gang via a beautiful new Shower Gel.

This Shower Gel contains a brand new scent that consists of Vanilla Absolute, Cinnamon Bark Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Lemon Myrtle Oil and Bergamot Oil alongside a touch of Carnation that blend together beautifully to create a fragrance that is as iconic as the Mystery Inc Gang themselves! This brand new fragrance reminds me of a cross between caramelised biscuits and ginger biscuits with a fresh bright citrus twist that is quite prominent alongside a touch of floral ness that is really subtle but helps to just make every ingredient pop in the fragrance. I guess the best way to describe it is to imagine a ghost has just baked a fresh batch of gorgeous cookies just before the sun rises up in a haunted mansion...

The colour of this shower gel is amazing and makes you instantly think of the gang due to the vivid glittery purple sort of colour that it has. I think that this one will be amazing to use all Autumn long especially for those like myself who love gourmand fragrances and like to smell like an absolute edible treat. If you love scents like Turmeric Latte or Yummy Custard then you may enjoy this Gel!

White angles photo of a light brown circular table full of products including a bottle that is cylindrical filled with dark purple shimmery silver glitter shower gel with a cylindrical black lid and a green and purple swirled rectangular label that says mystery inc shower gel lush in white white font with a rectangular purple and green cardboard card next to it that says the same thing in the same light on a bright background

Zoinks! Shower Jelly

Zoinks! This Shower Jelly really surprised me!

Glycerine, Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Laver Seaweed Infusion, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Carrageenan Extract, Perfume, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lavender Oil, Seaweed Absolute, Eugenol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Chlorophyllin (CI 75810), Colour 45350, Colour 42090.

Zoinks! Shower Jelly has been made for every Scooby-Doo lover that is out there like myself. Not only does this Shower Jelly contain a beautifully refreshing scent but it also contains some tricks and even a surprise.

Zoinks! Shower Jelly contains Swaweed Absolute, Sicilian Lemon Oil and Lavender Oils which blend together to create a truly refrehing aquatic scent that makes you feel like you've just jumped into the sea. This blend of beautiful oils creates the iconic Big Blue scent at Lush. You may know Big Blue by the beautiful bath bomb that is stocked in all Lush stores up and down the country that represents the wonderful waters around the UK and contains ingredients that have been harvested from mere steps from the UK Lush Factories.

Not only does this Shower Jelly smell to die for but it also contains an optical illusion and a surprise product in the middle of it. In the middle of Zoinks! Shower Jelly, there lies a head of a certain Captain  in Shower Gummy form that shares the same scent as the Shower Jelly. I know that some of you may be wondering what the difference between a Shower Jelly and a Shower Gummy is and the main difference is that the texture of the products and that you can slap the gummy onto walls and surfaces such as your bathroom wall, shower door and much more and it will stick which I think is amazing. The texture of a gummy compared to a jelly is a lot thicker. I guess well bit like a firm gummy sweet that you can buy in stores. I also feel that because it's a firmer jelly it's a little bit easier to handle if you're grabbing it and lathering it up on your body with your hands rather than a cloth/sponge/loofah.

I absolutely love Zoinks! It has an amazingly refreshing scent that  will not only refresh you but will help you when you feel a bit ill this winter, an extra surprise and something that instantly screams Scooby-Doo! I think that this would make an amazing gift especially for those without a bathtub in your life!

Scooby Snacks Body Spray

Who doesn't want to smell like an absolute delight that the gang craves?

Organic Alcohol Denat., Water, Perfume, Glycerine, Vanilla Absolute, Cinnamon Bark Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Bergamot Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool.

When I saw that Lush were releasing a brand new Body Spray to go alongside the rest of the Scooby-Doo X Lush Collaboration Range I was so excited and intrigued to see what it would smell like and oh Scoob it didn't disappoint!

Scooby Snacks Body Spray contains Vanilla, Cinnamon Bark, Benzoin, Lemon Myrtle and Bergamot which blend together to create a truly divine fragrance. The blend of Oils creates a truly edible fragrance that reminds me of freshly baked cookies due to the inclusion of Cinnamon, Vanilla and Benzoin with a bright twist from the Lemon Myrtle and Bergamot. The scent truly does remind me of walking into a bakery that is freshly baking cookies and sweet treats. The fragrance of the Body Spray shares the same scent as the Mystery Inc Gel but to me has a bit more of a focus on the sweet treat aspect of the fragrance and doesn't contain Carnation whilst the Shower Gel does which adds a floral note to the Gel as mentioned earlier in the post.

I decided to grab this when the launch instantly dropped as I had some money from a gift card on my Lush Club Wallet (make sure that you are a part of the Lush Club as you can put your bring it back packaging rewards on there to use at a later date to get money off purchases, receive first looks of upcoming ranges and check out exclusive Lush Club ranges such as Freshly Ever After. You can now even earn points when you shop which can earn you rewards such as money off orders and free products). Trust me when I say that I do not regret at all getting the Body Spray with my money on Lush Club. Not only does it make you smell like an absolute Scooby Snack but the longevity on this Body Spray is absolutely amazing.

I sprayed it first thing in the morning after using the Mystery Inc Shower Gel alongside the Super Milk Shampoo and Conditioner and oh my god I smelt divine. I sprayed the Scooby Snacks Body Spray first thing in the morning and I could smell it all day long. I went on an adventure, did some shopping, caught up with loved ones, travelled and could still smell it by the end of the day when I was cleansing my face and getting ready for bed. In my personal opinion, the main two ingredients that I could smell at the end of the day were the Cinnamon Bark and Vanilla.

I think that if you love fragrances such as Sticky Dates and Chelsea Morning then this Body Spray is definitely for you!

a photo of a large circular light brown table full of black body spray spray bottles that are full of body spray with a domed light green and purple label with Scooby snacks body spray Lush in white font on a bright background

Opening The Box & Falling Into Some Lush Products That Make Us Feel Cosy & Warm | Lush Kitchen September Bath Box

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blood post. I grabbed the Lush Kitchen September Bath Box and I thought that today I would talk to you all about my thoughts on it after using it through the month of September.

This box is centralised around all things Autumnal especially as the start of Autumn is in September and those fragrances that make us feel cosy when the nights draw in and the weather starts to turn during the month of September alongside some retro classics from Lush that the Lush Community (including myself) have been yearning for to return.

A close up light brown square box filled with a plethora of lush products. A clinical plastic bottle full of light brown creamy shower gel with a black rectangular label with Lush turmeric latte shower gel kitchen exclusive in white font next to a small 100 G black pot full of light yellow body lotion with a circular black lad and a circular black label that says wash Chelsie šŸ‘“ morning body lotion kitchen exclusive in white font with a golden pear shaped bubble bar with white cream in the middle of it with gold glitter next to a light grey spherical bath bomb with ridged holes all over the front of it with a small cylindrical glass jar full of light right and dark brown lip scrub with a black circular lad with a black circular label that says toffee apple lip scrub Lush in white font on a bright background with a black rectangular card behind it that has a red circle on the front of it with harvesting all your feedback in white font on a bright background

Turmeric Latte Shower Gel

Ingredients:

Coconut and Turmeric Infusion (Cocos nucifera; Curcuma longa), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Organic Agave Syrup (Agave tequilana), Tonka Absolute (Dipteryx odorata), Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax tonkinensis pierre), Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Titanium Dioxide, Fair Trade Cocoa Powder (Theobroma cacao), Carrageenan Extract (Chondrus crispus), Xanthan Gum, Coumarin, Eugenol, Colour 19140:1.

If you have been following me or reading my blog for a while then you will know that I am obsessed with the Turmeric Latte scent from Lush.

I purchased the original version of this Shower Gel back in 2019 and have hoarded and rationed the usage of my bottle so when I heard that this shower gel was coming back I was so ecstatic that I nearly screamed.

This Shower Gel contains the iconic Turmeric Latte scent which consists of Vanilla Absolute, Tonka Absolute and Benzoin Resinoid which blend together to create a truly gorgeous rich cosy scent that is full of creaminess and sweetness due to the Vanilla with a touch of smokiness which to me I think comes from the Tonka Absolute which is known for being a little bit smoky and malty and Benzoin Resinoid which gives off a bit of a creamy boozy note when I've smelt it on its own and in some other products.  I also think that the addition of Turmeric Powder helps to enhance the smoky note that's mentioned above and thus pushes that note to the forefront of the fragrance. This boost of earthy smokiness does remind me a lot of the original Turmeric Latte Bath Bomb that was released in 2019 as the product also had a prevalent smoky earthy note to it which was balanced with some sweetness which in all made me fall in love with it upon first sniff.

Alongside the Turmetic, there is a Coconut and Turneric Infusion included in this shower gel which is very similar to the Bath Bomb which contained Coconut Milk Powder. In my opinion, the Coconut lends itself more towards the texture of this supreme Shower Gel rather than the iconic scent. The Coconut Milk creates an utterly luxurious base for the Shower Gel to the point that I think that with both versions of this product Lush could have called it a Shower Cream rather than a Shower Gel.

When you squeeze some of this shower gel out of the bottle and massage it into the skin, it becomes a very moisturising milky lather rather than a serum based lather that a small handful of Lush's recent Glycerine based Shower Gels have had. As someone with dry skin, I absolutely adore the rich nourishing texture of Turmeric Latte Shower Gel. Personally, I think that the formula of this Shower Gel is the best in Lush's arsenal and I think that especially towards the colder months that it should be used in other Shower products even if they are just limited edition for the colder months.

Chelsea Morning Body Lotion

Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Glycerine, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Stearic Acid, Perfume, Triethanolamine, Lemon Myrtle Oil (Backhousia citriodora), Tonka Absolute (Dipteryx odorata), Fenugreek Absolute (Trigonella foenum-graecum), Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Cetearyl Alcohol, Anise Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Citral, *Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Linalool.

Chelsea Morning has become a viral sensation for a reason! Now it's the time for the Chelsea Morning Body Lotion to shine!

This Body Lotion contains Lemon Myrtle Oil, Tonka Absolute, Vanilla Absolute and Fenugreek Absolute. These ingredients combine together to create a beautifully complex gourmand scent like no other! The Vanilla and Tonka blend together to create a sweet creamy base with a touch of richness to it whilst the Lemon and Fenugreek blend to create a bright yet dimensional and slightly spicy scent. To me, the best way to describe the scent of Chelsea Morning is to say that it's like walking by a bakery first thing in the morning that is full of freshly baked sweet treats that fill the air with a gorgeous deep and complex citrus creamy scent. I guess almost like when you walk past somewhere that has just finished baking Cinnamon Rolls.

The texture of this Lotion is rich and luxurious without being so thick that it's a stiff balm that you have to carve out of the tub to apply it onto the skin. The best way to describe the texture of Chelsea Morning Body Lotion is to describe a softly whipped cream full of gorgeous nourishing ingredients with a beautiful scent that still holds its own weight.

I have been using this Body Lotion on its own and layered with the Chelsea Morning Perfume and it smells phenomenal in both cases. The body lotion speaks for itself. It is moisturising and ensures the skin doesn't feel dry which I need right now with the weather outside and the temperature inside forever changing.

Alongside this, whenever you move any part of your body that you've lovingly smothered with the lotion, your entire being gets reminded sporadically of why Chelsea Morning is the viral perfume that it is. The Body Lotion lasts forever on your skin projection wise but I do have to admit that it is amplified when you let it sink into the skin and then apply the Chelsea Morning Perfume on top. I did this recently before going out to Leeds to run some errands and and to grab some gifts for people and I was asked multiple times what was I wearing because it smelt so good. Great for my confidence and for knowing that layering them together would create a phenomenal scent. Not so much when someone stops you in a very busy Leeds Train Station...

Golden Pear Bubble Bar

Ingredients:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Perfume, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch (Zea mays), Laureth 4, Cardamom Oil (Elettaria cardamomum), Brazilian Orange Oil (Citrus sinensis), West Timor Sandalwood Oil (Santalum album), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Titanium Dioxide, Fresh Pear (Pyrus communis), Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45410, Colour 17200, Colour 77491, Colour 19140, Colour 15510, Colour 45410:1, Makrut Lime Leaf (Citrus hystrix).

Autumn always reminds me of all things spiced and Pear Cider so why not combine the two for one of the most gorgeous bath time treats from Lush?!

I am so glad that Golden Pear has made a feature in this Fall Box! Lush truly delivered when they said Fall Favourite Scents!

For those who are unaware, Golden Pear is a fan favourite retro fragrance from Lush that likes to make a sporadic appearance and then disappear for quite a long time for some relaxation.

This Bubble Bar contains Cardamom Oil, West Timor Sandalwood Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil and Fresh Pear Puree which blends together to create a deeply spiced Pear scent that has a sprightly bubbly undertone to it. I realise that deeply spiced and sprightly may be slightly nonsensical to state but I guess the best way to describe it is to imagine fizzy Cider bubbling on the stove with Cardamom and Orange Peel infusing its aromatic scent into the wonderfully still fizzy Pear Cider.  If you haven't been able to grab hold of this Kitchen Box then I urge you to go and check out the Gong Shower Jelly from Lush which shares the exact same superb scent!

Not only does this Bubble Bar smell divine for those cold days where you need a warm hug in a bath but it also helps to moisturise and nourish the skin on those cold days as the middle of this gorgeous Pear shaped and scented Bath Product contains a combination of gorgeous Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter that help to moisturise the skin and help to create gorgeous softening bubbles and bath water for when you need a true self care pamper in the autumn time! As someone who has quite dry skin I have always loved Golden Pear due to the skin softening Butters and as the Butters help to create a gorgeous experience I tend to use less than I would normally do when it comes to bubble bars as not only do I know a little goes a long way but also because I want the Bubble Bar to last me as long as possible!

I mean gorgeous spicy notes, gorgeous conditioning butters and gorgeous glitter! Whats not to love?

Metamorphosis Bath Bomb

Ingredients:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Black Pepper Oil (Piper nigrum), Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Myrrh Resinoid (Commiphora myrrha), Water (Aqua), Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch (Zea mays), Alcohol Denat., Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Lauryl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Perfume, Colour 77499, Colour 47005:1, Colour 15510, Colour 17200, Colour 45410:1, Colour 14700, Colour 45350, Colour 42090.

Metamorphosis is back! It has been so long since I last got to enjoy this beautiful bath bomb in all of its glory!

Metamorphosis Bath Bomb contains Black Pepper Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil and Myrrh Resinoid which all blend together to create a beautiful deep resinous spicy scent in my opinion. To me, the main two scents that come out the most in this Bath Bomb are the Black Pepper and Cinnamon which boast a very deep peppery spicy scent with a bit of richness and sweetness from the Cinnamon whilst the Myrrh helps to create a resinous base which adds a bit of depth to the scent.

Alongside this beautiful scent, this bath bomb creates a beautiful display in the water! When you drop this beautiful bath bomb into the tub, it instantly turns the water a deep sombre grey almost black colour but when Metamorphosis foams and froths a beautiful thing happens! The dark grey waters slowly turn into a technicolour rainbow of colour showing that you should never judge a book by its cover or in this case a bath bomb on its exterior!

I used this recently after being a bit under the weather and honestly it was the best decision I have made in a while. The bath art made me feel a little less miserable and  the oils in this bath bomb helped to rejuvenate my achy bones and strengthened me from the inside out.

I am a little bit bias when it comes to Metamorphosis as when this bath bomb was first released I used it whenever I could as I instantly fell in love with the bath art design and the scent so much so that I still kick myself for not being able to get the Perfume version of this Bath Bomb due to it only being in limited stores for a mere moment of time. I also think that the scent of Metamorphosis would be good in a format for the Holiday range! Maybe a Body Lotion or a Shower Gel? It would be a lovely addition for the cold months!

Toffee Apple Lip Scrub

Ingredients:

Caster Sugar, Fair Trade Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Bergamot Oil (Citrus aurantium bergamia), Carob Resinoid (Ceratonia siliqua), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill), Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens), Fine Sea Salt, Malic Acid, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Flavour, Colour 77947, Colour 15850:1, Colour 19140:1, Colour 42090:2.

Even our lips need some TLC during the Autumn season!

All of Lush's iconic Lip Scrubs contain a base of Caster Sugar which help to scrub away any dead skin to ensure that your lips look soft and replenished. To ensure that the Lip Scrub isn't too stripping, the Toffee Apple Lip Scrub from this Kitchen Box contains a combination of Fair Trade Organic Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter that help to moisturise the lips. As September means the start of nights drawing in earlier and the weather getting colder quickly it is always best to use products that ensure moisture and hydration. I love the usage of Jojoba Oil as it is the closest oil to the skins natural sebum so skin absorbs it a lot easier.

This Lip Scrub contains Bergamot Oil and Geranium Oil, Carob Resinoid and Sandalwood Oil. The Carob and Sandalwood blend together to create a deep molasses rich Toffee flavour whilst the Bergamot and Geranium combine to create a beautiful Apple flavour.

I was expecting this Lip Scrub to be on the sickly sweet side due to the Carob and Sandalwood but this scrub proved me way wrong. In my opinion, the Carob and Resinoid gave off a smoky toffee scent which makes a lot of sense as these two ingredients are also in the much beloved Sticky Dates Gel which shares the same caramelised slightly smoky toffee scent. This combines beautifully with the slightly sour Apple flavour which helps to cut through a touch of the sweetness that the Carob and Sandalwood brings to the Scrub. Not only this but this scrub also contains Malic Acid which is found in a lot of sour products on the market so you get to feel a true lip puckering sensation and flavour with this lip scrub.

This Lip Scrub is fabulous. I know a few of the Lush Community are starting to get a bit deflated with the amount of Lip Scrubs at Lush and Lush Kitchen but as an avid Lip Scrub lover I say bring it on! I also feel like Toffee Apple brings a fresh breeze of Autumnal fabulous to the Lip Scrub game as not only does it make you feel like you're eating a Toffee Apple but also that sourness in the scrub really brings something new to the game! I know that we have had Trick Or Treat which was sour in the past but I think that sour leaning Lip Scrubs from Lush could do really well against the sweeter ones such as Honey and Sticky Dates.

Overall, I think that this box is amazing. There's a mixture of Bath, body and face products that all fit into the vibe of Autumn through the different scents that have been chosen to feature in this box. Alongside that there's a good amount of retro products for those Lushies who like to see that in their Kitchen Box. I think that some of these products featured in the September Box could be moved over to All Year Round at Lush. I've enjoyed this Box so much that I grabbed another one when I saw them at my local Lush store just because I know a few people in my life that would like the Golden Pear Bubble Bar on its own or the Chelsea Morning Body Lotion so it made sense to grab one and gift some of the items from the box.

Celebrating Thirty Years Of Lush Through The Art Of Body Sprays | Lush Eras/Summer Body Sprays

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! Lush recently released five new limited edition Body Sprays and I thought that today I would talk to you all about them. I know that these Body Sprays have been at Lush stores for a while now but I like to take my time when it comes to reviewing fragrance due to fragrance being such a personal thing regarding reviewing the scent and the fragrance itself. These body sprays represent the different eras of Lush Cosmetics through different iconic, fan favourite and brand new scents.

Karma

Ingredients:
Organic Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), Perfume, Glycerine, Patchouli Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Lavandin Oil, Pine Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Elemi Oil, Cassie Absolute, Cinnamal, Citral, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool.

Karma has been that fragrance. A true heady fragrance that just screams Lush to me. Frankly, I am quite surprised that it has took this long for the Karma fragrance to be released in a Body Spray format but I am super grateful that it has been released in 2025 as it  has been 30 years since Karma was first released into the world of fragrance and cosmetics and Lush.

I am a bit biased when it comes to my opinion of Karma as it has been a bit of a on/off signature fragrance for me for a long while now. I realise a on/off signature fragrance sounds counterintuitive. However, as someone who is super indecisive about anything and everything  alongside being non-binary it's best for me to have multiple signature fragrances. Furthermore, I have a lot of products that are on the Karma scent family at Lush so that influences my bias because well if I have everything in a scent family I do like to use them.

If you have never smelt Karma before then imagine a fragrance that evokes the vibe of 70's London where Patchouli incense floats down the cobbled streets of London whilst the scent of the fresh oranges, lavender and lemongrass from the markets and bushes  nearby mingle together to create a truly divine fragrance.

In my opinion, when it comes to the Karma  Body Spray, the Patchouli, Orange and Lemongrass are the three main players whilst the Elemi, Pine and Lavender help to ensure that the fragrance as a whole shines bright on the skin.

When I spray the body spray onto my skin, I am hit with a massive blast of bright, beautiful and zingy citrus which then entwines itself with the deep dark heady Patchouli which stay at the forefront of the scent whilst during the day a blast of Lemongrass and Elemi comes through to help boost the citrus elements of this Body Spray. Towards the end of the day, the base notes blast through which consists of Pine and Lavender which helps to boost the Patchouli back towards the forefront and makes you realise that this scent not only takes you on a journey when you wear it but also that it's a powerhouse.

I've worn this Body Spray on both a very warm day and a cold day and the strength of the Patchouli and Orange has varied. It is well known that on a warm day, spicy and warm notes have a tendency of projecting quite boldly which was proven in this case by the Patchouli being a lot stronger than the citrus notes and on a colder day I did notice that I could smell the Orange, Lemongrass and Lavender a little bit more than usual.  I've worn this all day several times and honestly I can smell it from the initial spray to many many hours later. (By this id say on an average ten hours at least for myself).

I'd definitely recommend giving the Karma Body Spray a try if you haven't before and if you have then I'd say compare it against the well known and well loved Karma Perfume and see if any of the notes come out on your skin slightly different between the two formulations!

Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds

Ingredients:
Organic Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Glycerine, Perfume, Frankincense Resinoid, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Synthetic Musk, Amyl Cinnamal, Eugenol, Limonene.

Not all blue skies and white fluffy cloud end up being what we think they are...

Blue Skies and White Fluffy Clouds has been an all year round product from Lush in the form of a Bubble Bar and honestly in my opinion has been slept on a little bit in the past few years so I am glad Lush have decided to bring it out in a Body Spray format. I think it will make people appreciate the scent profile a little bit more now it's available in a fragrance format.

Blue Skies contains Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil and Frankincense Resinoid which blend together to create a truly unique scent. It's slightly spicy, slightly sweet and honestly just reminds me of those British Summers where you would run out to have a picnic due to tht sweet summery element but as soon as you sit down on the grass things would get spicy and the rain would absolutely drench you. In my opinion, Blue Skies also has a sort of spicy Cola element to it.

I'm sure if you've been reading for a while then you will know that I adore any scent that contains Patchouli or Cinnamon and there is no exception in that when it comes to Blue Skies. My only critique about this fragrance is that I think there could be a touch more Cinnamon in this body spray as the Cinnamon comes out the most when the Body Spray has completely dried down on the skin which if you're unaware of like I was the first time wearing this Body Spray then it slightly surprises you later on. I am also a Cinnamon fiend so this may just be a personal opinion so do go spray it in store and let me know your thoughts!

Strawberry Feels Forever

Ingredients
Organic Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), Perfume, Glycerine, Olibanum Oil, Kenyan Geranium Oil, Bergamot Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid, West Timor Sandalwood Oil, Anise Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Coumarin, Farnesol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool.

Strawberry Feels Forever... summer Feels Forever... Well the ultimate wish is that summer could last forever!

Long hot Summers and Strawberies just go well together...

Some may know Strawberry Feels Forever under a different name. Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, D'Fluff... The list goes on.

The scent of body spray is the epitome of Strawberries and Cream. You have the superbly sweet fruitiness of the strawberry coming from the combination of Kenyan Geranium Oil, Bergamot, West Timor Sandalwood Oil and Olibanum Oil and the scent of the beautiful cream from the Vanilla and Benzoin that blend together to really evoke the fragrance of a well known English Summer dessert!

I have forever enjoyed the D'Fluff scent and on me it stays very much true to the scent that has a retro legend at Lush for many years. It's bright, sweet and everything you want in a Strawberries and Cream inspired fragrance. I sprayed it and it lasted for at least a good eight hours on myself.

The only qualm that I have about this fragrance is that the Vanilla became slightly Plastic like on my skin around the 5 hour mark which sadly sometimes happens on my skin with scents that focus on Vanilla a bit.. The last fragrance that this happened with was a very well known luxury fragrance brand that are known for their catchy names and bold scents.

Super Milk

Ingredients:
Organic Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), Perfume, Glycerine, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Tonka Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Almond Essential Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool.

The viral sensation has finally come over to the dark Body Spray side...

I am sure you know about Super Milk by now due to the vitality of the fragrance. Super Milk started out as a beautiful hair primer that helps to nourish, detangle and protect against heat but it's now available in a body spray format!

When I sprayed this on my skin, the first notes that I could detect were the Almond and Tonka which blended together to create a slightly nutty and slightly malty note that reminded me of when you've just baked a cake. Once these notes had settled on my skin the Litsea Cubeba and Vanilla mingled with the pre-existing notes to create a beautiful citrus creamy baked goods scent that Super Milk is well known to be like. I really enjoyed the smell of this as alongside the citrus creamy notes that are mentioned above to my nose it also had a slightly smoky note to it from the Tonka that helped to cut through some of the sweetness of the fragrance.

The only downfall of this fragrance for me was that the Litsea Cubeba jumped off my skin quite quickly when I sprayed the Body Spray onto my skin. Sadly I think this is a me problem rather than Super Milk's. Fragrances are quite personal and adapt to our skin dna and I have noticed lately that a lot of bright  citrus fragrances jump off my skin quite quickly which is a bit of a pain because sometimes all I want is a pure sprightly citrus fragrance to help perk me up during a dark and gloomy day.

It may just be me so definitely go into a store and test it out if you can and let me know if the citrus notes in Super Milk Body Spray flash off your skin quickly too!

Stormy Weather

Ingredients:
Organic Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), Perfume, Glycerine, Neroli Oil, Basil Oil, Styrax Oil, Rosewood Oil, Bergamot Oil, Synthetic Musk, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool.

Even when the weather gets stormy, you need to smell fabulous!

Stormy Weather contains Neroli Oil, Basil Oil, Styrax Oil, Rosewood Oil, Bergamot Oil and Synthetic Musk that blend together to create a truly unique scent that is perfect for the transition from Summer into early Autumn in my opinion.

Stormy Weather is a brand new fragrance for 2025 from Lush. Whereas Karma operates the start of Lush thirty years ago, Stormy Weather celebrates the vibe of where fragrances can go within 2025 and focus on how fragrances can relate to the environment, our feelings and the memories that it can create such as remembering that it was a stormy day during a first date when you wore Stormy Weather because it reflected the bad weather yet made you feel joyful.

When I have worn the Stormy Weather Body Spray, the Bergamot is the star of the show and is quite prominent when you spray it onto the skin. Once the Bergamot has dried down the Basil, Neroli and Styrax come out in full force to create a truly fresh yet three dimensional scent whilst the Rosewood and Synthetic Musk come through last to create a slightly sweet yet woody base to this fragrance.

As mentioned, on my skin the Bergamot, Basil and Rosewood come out the most which blend together to create a really fresh summery scent with aquatic notes and a strong woody base which for a fragrance called Stormy Weather was a bit surprising as I think the initial thinking with a name such as Stormy Weather is deep, smoky and maybe even something Anise forward. In my opinion, Stormy Weather smells like a mixture of Hiccup from the How To Train Your Dragon X Lush collaboration range and the Salty Body Spray from Lush

I think that Stormy Weather is a beautiful scent  that projects quite vividly. Personally, on myself it feels a bit like it's a fragrance suited to a particular mood and a particular vibe which can be a touch troublesome as I am not always in that specific mood so I don't always gravitate towards Stormy Weather but I do enjoy wearing it when I am in that mood.

I think that this could be a great fragrance for those in your life who adore aquatic fresh scents with a blast of wood and citrus underneath and would make for an amazing gift for either a special occasion or for when someone in your life needs a treat! When I've been into a store with my partner, they have said that they enjoy this fragrance so I have been tempted lately to grab them a bottle as a treat!

AD | It's Time To Have Your Bath Bomb & Enjoy It Too! | Lush X Hello Kitty and Friends Range

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was recently sent some of the goodies from the Hello Kitty and Friends X Lush Collaboration Range and I thought that today I would talk to you all about the range!

If anyone knows me well then you will know that I adore Sanrio! I recently went away and had to pop into a Sanrio store when I saw one! I forever have a soft spot for characters such as Gudetama and Aggretsuko. When I heard that Lush was collaborating with Sanrio I honestly knew that I would have to check it out and grab everything as soon as I could so when Lush sent me this parcel of goodies not only was I so grateful I was so excited to delve in and check everything out!

A close up photo of a pink square box opened up with a white animated cat and with a pink bow next to some other Sanrio animated characters with a plethora of face shaped bath bombs such as hello kitty which is white with a pink bow, Kuromi which is black with a white face and Cinnamoroll which is golden brown with a pink slice of cake shaped soap, a white and blue milk bottle shaped with a straw shaped bubble bar alongside a cykdiencual small bottle of white shower gel with a red glitter with a clear label with the same animated characters and hello kitty and friends shower gel and lush in light pink on a bright background

Hello Kitty Bath Bomb (£6).

She truly is the icon!

Hello Kitty has been a staple in all of our lives for a long long while now and now she's here to be a staple in your bathing routine too!

Hello Kitty Bath Bomb contains Brazilian Orange Oil, Patchouli Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Vanilla Absolute. These oils blend together to create a truly interesting scent. Lush describe this as a true amalgamation of two of their iconic scents. Snow Fairy and Milky Bath. Hello Kitty's Bow is a bath melt that consists some truly fabulous butters to nourish the skin such as Kokum Butter and Hello Kitty's nose is made of a Boba Pearl.

To me, this bath bomb in the water creates a sweet scent that truly smells of the iconic Snow Fairy from Lush worth a little bit of a citrus twang to it which is interesting to smell especially in the water! I loved the addition of the bow being a bath melt as I'm someone who has quite dry skin and anything that contains butters that will nourish the skin is always a great thing in my opinion. Not only did my skin feel amazing after enjoying Hello Kitty in the bath but I also smelt delectable. I feel like this would be a great gift for anyone who wants something sweet in the bath and is a big fan of Snow Fairy but would like something new due to having everything Snow Fairy already in their collection.

Kuromi Bath Bomb (£6).

Don't trust a bath bomb by its dark and deceiving design...

Kuromi is here! Kuromi may look all dark and sinister on the outside but get to know her and you'll realise that she's an absolute sweetheart.

Lush has epitomised the dark yet absolutely cute vibe of Kuromi not only by Kuromi releasing black rainbow lustre and pink into the water but also by the scent of this beautiful bath bomb. Lush has scented Kuromi with the Happy Bloomimg scent. Happy Blooming contains Almond Essential Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Ylang Ylang which blend together to create a truly delicious Cherry Bakewell scent that has notes of Black Cherry to it with a slightly fresh and floral undertone.

I am slightly hesitant when it comes to Cherry scents and Cherry Bakewell as I have spent years absolutely detesting Cherry and Almond as they can be too synthetic but Happy Blooming is a beautiful scent as the Ylang Ylang adds a interesting element to the scent. I love anything that has rainbow black lustre in so mixing that with Happy Blooming meant that I knew that I was going to love this bath bomb and I very much do!

Kuromi would make a perfect gift for those in your life who are sometimes a little dark and mysterious.

My Melody Bath Bomb (£6).

My Melody may know a thing or two about baking but would it surprise you if she knew a thing or two about bathing too?

My Melody is known for all things baking and I think that Lush has done a great job representing this in the form of the scent that My Melody is in this creative collaborative range.

My Melody is scented with the iconic American Cream scent which to some reminds them of Strawberry Shortcakes and eating beautiful dishes at a dessert bar. American Cream contains Vanilla Absolute, Clary Sage Oil, Lavender Oil and Benzoin Resinoid which blend together to create a truly scrumptious scent that makes you feel like you are bathing on a cloud. Did you know that Lavender is known for its soothing properties so this bath bomb would definitely help you relax after a stressful day of creative challenges.

I mean I love American Cream but I really love American Cream in the height of Spring as it reminds me a bit of enjoying a Strawberry Milkshake in a shopping centre during the height of Spring. I paired this with the American Cream Shower Gel and the old Sreawberry Heart Shower Jelly and honestly I had an amazing bath that created some cute bath art!

Cinnamoroll Bath Bomb (£6).

Who doesn't want to smell like freshly made cinnamon rolls?

Cinnamoroll is here and this beautiful bath bomb is not only going to make you feel comforted with their scent but will also make you feel like you're bathing on clouds due to the beautiful blue bath art that Cinnamoroll creates in the tub.

Cinnamoroll contains Rice Starch, Almond Essential Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Carob Resinoid and Cinnamon Leaf Oil to create a truly scrumptious freshly basked Cinnamon Roll scent that has a bit of sweetness to it. I absolutely adore anything Cinnamon so when I saw that Lush were creating a Cinnamon Roll scented bath bomb inspired by Cinnamoroll I was very excited! Lush truly met my expectations and more with this bath bomb. Cinnamoroll does smell like Cinnamon Rolls like I've said due to the inclusion of Vanilla and Cinnamon but the Carob adds a slightly smoky toffee note to it which to me makes it smell like the caramelised middle part of a cinnamon roll. You know where it's slightly sticky and slightly caramelised?

Honestly if you know anyone in your life who loves cinnamon rolls and baths then definitely grab them this bath bomb! They will be ever so thankful that you gifted them it.

Milk Bottle Bubble Bar (£9.50).

We all know that Milk helps to relax us and so do baths so why not combine the two together?

Fun fact! Did you know that Milk Bottle was the first accessory that Hello Kitty carried when Hello Kitty was released in 1975?

Milk Bottle contains Sea Salt which is known to help you relax. Milk Bottle also contains Buchu Absolute, Almond Essential Oil, Cocoa Absolute and Labdanum Resinoid. If you're a big fan of Lush then you may recognise the scent of this Bubble Bar via the Candy Rain Conditioner. To me the mixture of Almond, Cocoa, Vanilla and Labdanum creates a rich creamy scent that has a touch of fruitiness in the background. If you're based in the UK and love the Milk Bottle sweets then I think that you will adore this bubble bar. I mean look  at it, I'm lactose intolerant and even I think that this is an adorable product for the bath!

Friendship Cake Soap

It's time to have you cake, share it amongst friends and use it to cleanse yourself beautifully too!

This Friendship Cake Soap looks amazing! The effort that has gone into this soap is impeccable! The Friendship Cake Soap can be sliced into individual slices to take home and use or can be sold as a whole cake for you to share with friends and family when you're home or celebrating something amazing!

Friendship Cake Soap contains Tangerine and Orange Oils which combine to create a truly refreshing Orange scent that will make your mouth water. If you have tried the Angels Delight Soap or the Shiz University Massage Bar from Lush and loved it then you're in luck as the Friendship Cake Soap shares the same scent! This super soap also contains junk Organic Agave Syrup, Almond Oil and Pressed Murumuru Butter which are combined together and layered onto the top of the cake shaped soap to represent buttercream/frosting on the top of a freshly baked cake! This combination of butters ensures that your skin is nourished and soft after using in the bathroom. I adore the scent of this Soap. It just reminds me of bright and warm Summer days when everything just feels fabulous and warm! As someone with dry skin, I love the fact that this soap has that whipped top. It ensures that my hands don't feel dry even if I'm washing them a lot throughout the day which happens a fair bit! If you're a fan of citrus scents or want something bright and zingy to wash with then definitely check this amazing soap out or buy a slice and gift to a friend who needs a pick me up!

Hello Kitty and Friends Shower Gel (from £8.50).

Who says showering can't be fun?!

This Shower Gel like the Hello Kitty Bath Bomb shares the scent of the two famous Lush scents (Milky Bath and Snow Fairy) alongside some other gorgeous goodies.

This shower gel contains Fresh Strawberry Puree, Fine Sea Salt, Brazilian Orange Oil, Patchouli Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Vanilla Absolute which combine to create a truly unique scent. To me, I say that the Snow Fairy element of the shower gel blends into the Strawberry Puree a bit which then combines with the Patchouli and Orange which make up the scent profile of Milky Bath at Lush which to me smells like fresh clean cotton with a sort of spicy kick to it. When these two scents combine, in the format of the shower gel, I get a sort of spicy grown up strawberry ice cream scent to it in a way.

If you're a fan of glitter (I mean who isn't?) then you will love this Shower Gel as Hello Kitty and Friends Shower Gel contains a special red glitter that evokes the spirit of Hello Kitty and her friends when it shimmers beautifully in the light.

If you're a fan of Snow Fairy Milkshake from Christmas 2024 or American Cream then I think that you will adore this scent. I've been using it first thing in the morning and it's just helped to perk me up when I felt a bit bleh as the Patchouli helps to ground me but the Strawberry and Vanilla makes me think I can feel cute and crack on with the day no matter what.

A wide angled photo of a row of small and medium cylindrical shaped bottles filled with pink and white shower gel with red glitter with a clear label with animated characters and hello kitty and friends shower gel in pink font with lush in black font on a bright background

Hello Kitty and Friends Perfume (£30).

What does Hello Kitty smell of? Well now you'll be able to find out and smell just like her!

Lush have decided to bottle up the spirit of Helko Kitty in a glass perfume bottle that is adorned with characters from the Sanrio universe on the front for us to enjoy and feel truly like one of the gang alongside Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll and the rest of the gang!

This perfume shares the same scent profile as the Hello Kitty and Friends Shower Gel and the Hello Kitty Bath Bomb that consists of Milky Bath and Snow Fairy.

This perfume contains Brazilian Orange Oil, Patchouli Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Vanilla Absolute to create this iconic scent. To me the Benzoin and Vanilla create that iconic Snow Fairy scent in this perfume whilst the other two ingredients make up the scent DNA of Milky Bath from Lush which combine to create a fragrance that will make people ask you what are you wearing because it smells that good!

I have tested this out on paper and skin and I have also done a full day wear test of only using Hello Kitty and Friends Perfume before when I was in store before writing this blog post. It's also worth noting that everyone's skin can react to perfumes differently.

When I sprayed this onto my skin, the first note I got was that truly iconic pink Snow Fairy scent which just screams nostalgia and great times to me due to using Snow Fairy over the past ten years at least. The Snow Fairy note did flash off my skin quite quickly but left a hint on my skin which mingled and intertwined with the Patchouli and Orange which created a sweet yet creamy scent with a grounding edge. After wearing all day including running errands, shopping, checking a new Lush range out and getting home, I was left with a quite creamy scent on my skin. The best way I would describe the scent would be milky with a splash of sweetness to it. Honestly the scent I was left with after wearing this perfume wall day was similar to Candy Rain from Lush which I adore as it's creamy but has a depth and complexity to it due to the other ingredients in the scent profile such as Buchu and Cocoa that makes up the lovely scent of Candy Rain/Mrs Whippy. All in all I do think that it's an amazing scent.
