Hey everyone!
Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was kindly sent some of the How To Train Your Dragon X Lush Collaboration Range by the lovely team at Lush so I thought that today I would talk to you all about the range!
Toothless Bath Bomb (£7)
It's time to fly into a warm bath!
List Of Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Spearmint Oil, Cream of Tartar, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Popping Candy, Talc, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Alcohol Denat., PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Perfume, Colour 77499, Colour 42053, Colour 45410, Colour 47005, Colour 17200, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 77288, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, Colour 59040, Colour 45350.
Toothless is here to make your bath journey that little bit extra special. This bath bomb contains Popping Candy which creates the ultimate bathing experience by making your bath crackle and pop.
Toothless has a sort of swirled Mint and Vanilla fragrance to it due to the inclusion of Spearmint Oil and other goodies that kind of remind me of when you get a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream with your dessert topped with Mint. The Mint develops and blooms on the bath making it feel like you're relaxing on an ice cool spring relaxing after a long day of adventuring and battling.
If you're a big fan of bath art when it comes to selecting bath bombs at Lush then you will definitely want to grab a Toothless Bath Bomb as the bath art that they create is truly mesmerising. I won't spoil it for you but the visual art that comes with Toothless Bath Bomb is truly magical and definitely will make your day feel a little bit better if you've had a tiring day!
Toothless Tail Soap (£5)
The soap that will definitely last the tail of time.
List Of Ingredients:
Rapeseed Oil; Coconut Oil, Fresh Mint Infusion, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Water, Perfume, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Spearmint Oil, Activated Charcoal, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Calcium Carbonate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Colour 77499, Colour 77491, Colour 14700, Colour 17200.
Not only does this Soap look stunning with its dark and mysterious shift of colours but also smells amazing too. Like the Tootoess Bath Bomb, this soap has a fresh mint scent with a slightly creamy Vanilla backnote but as there is Fresh Mint Infusion in this soap alongside the Spearmint Oil that is also in the Toothless Bath Bomb, the Mint note is slightly more prevalent within this product. If you're a fan of scents from Lush such as Dirty then I think that this soap will definitely be for you.
I've been using Toothless Tail Soap for a while now. I love the addition of Activated Charcoal in this soap as it ensures that all the dirt and grime from my hands and body is completely banished.
I've been using this during the heatwave that has occurred in the UK and it has honestly been a godsend for the hot weather and ensuring that I feel clean and refreshed.
Astrid's Axe Bubble Bar (£12)
List Of Ingredients:
Sodium Carbonate, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Lauryl Betaine, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Green Mandarin Oil , Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Limonene, Colour 42090:2, Colour 47005:1, Colour 77288, Colour 77491:1, Colour 77288, Colour 77491.
We all need a good bath after a day of hard work and that's exactly what Astrid's Axe is here to do!
As Astrid's Axe is on a stick the best way to use this bubble bar is to either use the axe to slice through the water in the tub whilst it's runnin or to hold it under the tap until your preferred amount of bubbles has formed. Some like a light bubbly bath, some like a bubbly bath that's full of frothy bubbles. Once your preferred amount has occurred, turn the tap off and place the amazing Axe on the side or on a soap dish to dry before using it again after your next adventure.
This bubble bar contains a plethora of oils such as Sicilian Green Mandarin, Sicilian Lemon, Sage and Rosemary which combine to create a lovely fresh Blackcurrant scent with a blast of green notes behind it. This bubble bar shares the same scent as the Junk Perfume from Lush so if you're looking for a bathing product to go along with the gorgeous perfume then Astrid's Axe is the one for you. I love this bubble bar. I love anything Junk and I have forever been yearning for more products in the Junk scent from Lush. (Please give us a Junk Shower Gel!)

A shower gel that will help your muscles relax after a long day? Sign me up!
This shower gel to me screams dragon and Viking's by the amazing packaging, the fiery red colour of the shower gel itself and the scent of the superb shower gel.
This shower gel contains an abundance of amazing oils. Monstrous Nightmare contains Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Lime Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Benzoin Resinoid and Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil. These oils being to create a beautifully fiery and spicy scent with a slightly citrus undertone that to me gives off a sparkling background note that makes it feel like the spices are bubbling and frothing a tiny bit. If you are an avid Lushie then you may be happy to hear that Monstrous Nightmare shares the same scent as Glogg Shower Gel that has appeared in previous seasonal and Lush Kitchen ranges.
Anyone that knows me will know that I adore spicy scents. I love anything and everything cinnamon centric or that has a cinnamon in it. When I first smelt this shower gel I instantly got a big hit of sweet cinnamon and that was from quickly smelling the bottle in the middle of the store. From that quick sniff, I knew that I would love this Shower Gel.
Chief Stoick Beard and Hair Oil (£18) & Gobber's Comb (£10)
List Of Ingredients:
Almond Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Black Jamaican Castor Oil, Organic Cold Pressed Grapeseed Oil, Fair Trade Organic Jojoba Oil, Perfume, Cold Pressed Organic Borage Oil, Coffee Oil, Tonka Absolute, Vetivert Oil, Tobacco Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, *Anise Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Cinnamate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, Linalool.
Even the greatest of Vikings need something to tame their hair with!
Lush have done various iterations of Beard products in the past in the form of naked solid products so when I heard that a packaged liquid hair and beard oil was coming as a part of this amazing collaboration range I was super intrigued.
Chief Stoick can be used as both a hair oil to help keep hair tamed and hydrated or as a beard oil to keep facial hair in place or both.
Chief Stoick contains Organic Argan Oil, Black Jamaican Castor Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Cold Pressed Borage Oil and Grapeseed to create a wonderful base for the product to hydrate every fibre of hair intensely. Did you know that Jojoba Oil is known for being the most structurally and chemically close to your skins sebum?
Chief Stoick contains Coffee Oil, Tonka Absolute, Vetivert Oil, Vanilla Absolute and Tobacco Absolute. These oils blend to create such a unique scent. The Vanilla and Tonka blend to create a creamy soft base which contrasts beautifully against the rest of the oils which blend to create a rich powerful smoky scent from the Coffee and Tobacco with a woody yet slightly herbal undertone that comes from the Vetivert. If you have tried the Hobana Bath Bomb from The Ippuku Dan Goft Set from Lush or the Lazy Oaf X Lush Body Spray and loved it then you will love this beard Oil as they both share a very similar scent to the Chief Stoick Beard and Hair Oil.
As I said above, I was intrigued when I heard that there would be a Haor and Beard Pil on this Collaborations Range and boy did it not disappoint. I was also intrigued that this product contained Black Jamaican Castor Oil as I have heard that the castor Oil is known for its benefits such as strengthening thin hair, nourishing dry hair and promoting hair growth. I've been using the Oil for a while and have been loving it. My hair and facial hair have felt a lot more moisturised and healthy than it did before using the Oil. I have slowly been getting into Tobacco and Vetivert forward scents over the past year and forever loved Dear John from Lush that is quite Vetivert forward in my opinion so I was super looking forward to seeing how this scent would be in a oil format and it is beautiful. The coffee comes out but doesn't dominate the scent and the Vetivert adds a beautiful note the scent. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you can pop to a Lush store near you and check it out.
Alongside the Chief Stoick Hair and Beard Oil, you can grab Gobber's Colb which is a 100% recycled plastic hair and beard comb that helps to de tangle hair before applying the oil and can be used to style all hair!
Hiccup Body Spray (£35)
List Of Ingredients:
Organic Alcohol Denat, Water, Perfume, Glycerine, Bergamot Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool.
I adore Lush's Body Sprays so I was definitely excited to try Hiccup out. The main note in Hiccup is Bergamot and to me Bergamot reminds me of drinking Earl Grey Tea in the garden on a warm day. I'm not entirely sure why but it does. Maybe as Bergamot is in Earl Grey Tea.
This Body Spray does smell of citrus heavy yet slightly peppery Bergamot but to me it also has a sort of aquatic note to it which reminds me of being at the seaside too. I would definitely say that this is an amazing Body Spray for the Summer time or for anyone who loves a Summery scent. I am also considering it to take it and wear it when I next go to the seaside for the ultimate sort of Summer adventure vibe.
I recently went into my local store and sprayed Big and Salty as when I've been trying out Hiccup it has slightly reminded me of both of these Body Sprays from Lush and I must say if you layer Big and Salty together you get a scent which feels like it fits on the family of what Hiccup smells like. If you can go to a Lush store then I would urge you to try this combination out on one arm and Hiccup on the other and see what you think of both.
Regarding the longevity of Hiccup, to me it is amazing. I've been wearing it especially when I've needed to run errands for the day and meeting up with friends and I've noticed that I can still smell it quite strongly by the end of the day when I'm back home using Ultrabland and getting ready to settle down after a long day.
Thank you so much to the wonderful team at Lush for sending me some of the items from the How To Train Your Dragon X Lush Range!
